Ok, so we’re not exactly talking about the pinnacle of health food here, but sometimes you just need a tasty start to the day that includes at least some good energy.

So, to start, you’ll need to gather the following ingredients (choosing your favorite types of the first two):

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pad of butter

You can also add any veggies or meat you’d like once you get your method down.

It should go without saying that the type of bread and cheese you use is totally up to you (and you can skip the cheese).

Now, there are just a few simple steps for completing this recipe and you just need a bowl, a fork, and an implement to lift your toast.

Instructions:

Step 5: Next, take a half slice of toast and coat both sides in the egg mixture. Repeat with the other half and then place the slices with the cut sides facing each other, with about an inch of egg in between.

Step 6: You’ll end up with a bit of an odd-looking omelet with two pieces of bread in the middle, but don’t worry, you’re doing it right!

Step 7: After the eggs have solidified, flip over the entire contents of the pan so the bread is on the bottom.
