A lot of pet owners take their beloved animals everywhere they go, and summer vacation is no exception. Those adventures can bring out the best in your furry friend. At first, you might think that all cats are similar – they love to take a nap, and you better don’t cuddle them if they’re not in the mood. That’s the basis of being a cat, but so much more fun things are yet to be discovered.

One family used the perfect opportunity to see their cat’s behavior on the beach. Luckily, they’ve snapped a few photos of their kitten in the wind. Enjoy!

Ginger cat Pumpkin loves the beach

In an interview with Bored Panda, Pumpkin’s owner told that she and her daughter decided to take the cat to the beach. They’ve never done anything like it before, and it turned out that the cat absolutely loved the sand.

It’s not quite surprising, given the fact that their litter box is full of it. Kittie had interesting reactions to the new overwhelming experience, and the mom had to take a video of it. The video later resulted in a series of funny photos.

As much as Pumpkin loved the sand, he completely hated the wind

The lovable furball enjoyed exploring the beach with his brother Moustachio.

They were running around and having so much fun until the wind began to blow. Pumpkin wasn’t having it. If you’ve never seen a cat frowning, be sure to look at Pumpkin’s reaction to all the wind around him.

The displeasure is written all over his face.

It’s not the first time that Pumpkin joined the family outside

We’re talking about a cat that loves to travel.

His owners described him as “curious, charming, adventurous, and so very intuitive.”

They also added that Pumpkin loves other animals, and they love him, too.

Pumpkin was adopted as a rescue kitten, and he’s lucky to have a loving home

“We decided to foster a mom and four kittens from a local animal shelter,” said the owner. They fell in love with them all right away, but Pumpkin stole their hearts.

“We knew he was special right away,” remembers his mom. The family decided to adopt the orange fluffy boy, but they also had to adopt his brother, because they were inseparable.

Later on, Pumpkin’s new owners discovered that he has a medical condition called cerebellar hypoplasia

Luckily, this fellow’s case is a mild one, and it doesn’t stop him from having fun wherever they go. However, it affects the part of his brain that’ in charge of his motor skills. It results in Pumpkin being clumsy at times, his coordination, and depth perception are a bit changed.

We’re happy to hear that Pumpkin is a happy cat, despite everything.
