Children have a tendency to get into trouble the second you turn your back on them. And this isn’t just restricted to human children!
When you were a child, were you a good little boy or girl, or were you a demon child?
Most of us were a little of both, depending on our moods. And whenever we broke the rules, our mothers were sure to tell us off.
The little panda cub in this video is incredibly cute, but he’s also a little rascal!
His poor mother has done an amazing job in raising him right. Yet he has a terrible habit of always getting into trouble.
The adorable cub’s name is Cheng Lan, and he’s an incredibly curious animal. He has a lust for life that his mother, Cheng Da, sometimes struggles to keep up with. One of these moments was captured on video. And it’s hilarious!
The cub sneaks through the bars of the room that he and his mother have been put in while a zoo worker cleans their enclosure.
Cheng Da notices that her son has snuck away and goes to the edge of the bars to try to get him back.
But sadly, she can’t do much more than call to him, as she’s way too big to sneak through the bars herself.
While this happens, a zoo worker happily cleans up the panda’s enclosure, not away that the cub is loose.
The cub crawls up to the zoo worker, curious to see what she’s doing. The mother sticks her head through the bars, desperate to get her naughty boy back.
The worker then notices that the mischevious cub is in the room and not with his mother. So she walks over to him and picks him up.
She then gently pushes him back into the enclosure with his mother.
The mother then takes the cub by the scruff and drags him away from the bars, like a parent dragging their child away from a store that they’ve been disrupting shoppers in.
The mother is obviously annoyed that the cub has done this YET AGAIN. She then clasps him tightly to keep him in one place.
If she could speak, she’d say “What have I told you? No bothering the nice people while they’re working!”
This footage soon made its way to YouTube, where it went viral in no time.
It has, to date, gained over 18 million views. It also has more than 92,000 likes and 4,500 comments. People have been saying things like this:
It’s easy to understand why this video is so popular. Not only is it incredibly cute, but it’s also highly relatable.
Even if you were an angel growing up, you surely saw this scene play out with some of your classmates and their parents!?
In nature, a panda mother and her cub live in close proximity to one another for the first 18 months of the cub’s life. Then, if the panda mother has another child, the cub becomes independent. If the mother does not have another child, then the cub stays with the mother until the cub reaches two years of age. In that time, as this video proves, the cub tends to get into plenty of mischief, just like a human child!
