Have you ever seen such a tiny horse, that it could pass as a small dog? If it’s hard to believe, then take a look at Mr. Peabody. This handsome horse only stands 16 and ½ inches tall and he’s the smallest horse in the world!

Peabody’s story started when he was born.

He was so little that he couldn’t even reach his mother’s udder. This made his mother decide to abandon him. The owner felt sorry for the little guy. Upon closer inspection, the vet told them what was wrong.

Peabody was born with dwarfism.

Not just that, he also had crippled legs, he was blind and deaf as well. He also suffers from a badly aligned jaw that prevents him from drinking milk.

The vet told the owner that the best course is to take him down.

That’s when Faith San Severino, a well-known trainer of mini horses, received a call. The owner of the foal called and explained the situation. She warned Faith of the baby’s condition, and that made her more interested.

In no time, she drove to where the foal was and when she saw him, she fell in love. She knew that little guy wanted to live and so she took him.

Faith named him Peabody.

The kind-hearted trainer saw how Peabody wanted to stand. He was full of hope and he loved to drink his milk. This little guy was a fighter, and so his journey began.

Faith and her husband, Adam, loved the little horse. They made custom shoes for him, his head grew and he was able to eat. He can see and they also think that Pea can also hear.

Who would have thought that the weak foal would turn into a playful, naughty, and sweet family member of Faith? Peabody had a mom, a dad, and dogs as brothers and sisters!

He also helps with Faith’s mission of training mini horses for therapy. They have their own TikTok account, YouTube, and a store that even has merchandise on it.

If you love TikTok, you may have seen how naughty Peabody could be.

Their family was chaotic but in a lovingly good way. It was the best four months Faith could wish for, sadly, last September of this year, Pea’s health started deteriorating.

It happened so fast. In a few days, he lost a lot of weight, he suffered fever, he needed ultrasounds and a blood panel.

Peabody’s fans were so worried about him that Faith’s organization was flooded with messages. Sadly, in just a matter of days, Peabody’s health declined.

The little bundle of joy passed away last September 14, 2021.

Since that day, they have been receiving so much love from all the people who knew of this jolly little horse. He had a very short life, but Faith and her husband, Adam, gave the best possible life for their Precious Pea.

Faith had been training mini horses for a long time. They help in therapy and rehabilitation, but with Pea, it was different. He gave millions of people around the globe a chance to smile. He shared his life with all of us and gave us joy that we will all remember.
