People are creating beautiful flower paintings using dog paw prints
Have you ever heard the term ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’?
Well, in this story, the beholders happen to create art with their dog’s paws and the art turns out to be quite beautiful!
Meet Buddy, the talented American Eskimo.
There were no dogs harmed in the making of this video or art.
The artist in this video assures us that he only uses safe materials while creating art with his pups.
He advises that you should only use water-based acrylic paints with no chemicals, and to wash your dog’s paws as soon as you are done.
This will keep the paint on the canvas or paper and out of your doggy’s mouth.
Enjoying yourself Buddy? It’s time to wash them paws.
By the looks on buddy’s face, and the fact that he keeps pulling away, it leads us to believe that this may be more enjoyable for the human than the dog.
Either way, you have to make sure to get the paint cleaned off before the doggy decides to eat it.
Next up – Meet Bear, the 10-year-old Husky dog, and talented artist.
While it may have been a little painful to watch Buddy create his masterpiece with his human helper, Bear seems to enjoy the process a bit more and is a much calmer subject than his counterpart.
Dip and press, then dip and press. This is the process.
We’re not sure if it will be this easy for you and your dog co-creator, but there does not appear to be all that many steps to the creation of this particular style of painting.
With a dip here and a press there, the pieces come to life right before your eyes.
Better be quick if you are trying to capture multiple paintings in one sitting.
Stephen and Bear seem to work well together as painter and co-painter.
As they finish the beginnings of one painting, Stephen quickly grabs another piece of paper and begins the dip and press process to capture another.
A beautiful collection from these talented three!
Here are a few paintings that these three have completed together.
After Stephen applies the wet paws to the paper, he simply adds the stems and a couple of splashes of color to the paw petals, and the masterpiece is complete.
They are not alone.
According to a story published online by Diply, there is a community of canine owners creating this type of amazing art. The story covers the process and features several pieces of completed paintings.
Take a look at this piece.
Paw painting is not the only art being created by doggies.
There are dogs picking up paintbrushes and creating amazing abstract pieces of art.
This little dog really seems to be enjoying himself and his process of creation. Keep up the great work!
One Labrador Retriever paints to raise funds for others.
According to a story published by AKC.org, Dagger was set to become a service dog for people that have special needs. Unfortunately, at 18 months he did not cut the mustard and was released from the program.
Luckily for Dagger, he had a different calling. That calling was creating art that would generate thousands of dollars.
The proceeds from his work are donated to an organization called, Canine Companions for Independence, and are used to provide trained service animals to people that need them and cannot afford to purchase one on their own. Beautiful!
