People passing time in quarantine by photoshopping cat faces onto bees

Most people from countries all over the world are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Countries immobilized the movement of their citizens to stop or somehow slow down the spread of the virus, thus imposing lockdowns, quarantine, social distancing, or whatever they call it.

Leisure time is the most abundant resource of many people thing ever since the pandemic started.

A lot has been taken up doing recreational activities at home to kill some time, but others have decided to cure their boredom in a very creative and funny way – by photoshopping their cats’ faces on bees!

Surprisingly, the fun idea has made quite a “buzz”!

The fusion of an animal pet and winged insect became a sudden hit on the internet.

While people are busy looking for a cure to this pandemic, others saw their free time as an opportunity to be creative in a funny way while combining technology, art, social media, and of course, their cat.

The trend seemed to have started from Jessy Hanczaryk. One day, out of nowhere, this thought landed in her mind. Her victim was her cat, Millie.

She started to crop her photos, taking her cat’s head and placing it on bees’ pictures.

Jessy was overjoyed by the outcome of her creation and shared it with her brother. He was so amused by it, too, that he shared the images on Reddit.

Hanczaryk’s creation sure caused quite the stir on the internet, so much so that it started swarming other social media platforms.

“I saw someone posted them on Facebook and someone else posted them on Instagram! I honestly had no idea that people would like them so much,” Jessy told The Dodo.

Her photoshop idea influenced people to have fun with their cats too.

Her cute idea didn’t take long to be noticed especially when it got publicly posted on the internet.

Other people then started to do their own versions of the cat-bee pictures.

They began photoshopping their own cats’ faces and fusing it with bees, some even pasting onto another winged insect. Since many have followed what Jessy has started, it is safe to say that a lot of people have more time on their hands than they know what to do with.

Pictures of the cat-bee trend started to appear on Twitter and everyone is loving it!

This idea of Jessy’s made a fuss on Twitter when people started following the photoshop trend that she created.

A certain Twitter user with handle name @BPeep_17 even wrote:

“My sister sent me an Instagram post of someone who had photoshopped her cat’s face onto bees. So I had to give it a shot. This was the result, Salem the Bee:”

Another Twitter user @EvanAndKatelyn wrote:

“Could not stop laughing at this Reddit post where OPs sister was photoshopping their cat’s face onto bees… so we had to do one too. I present… JooBEE!”

A “new version” of the trend was posted by Twitter user @glossymaeve.

She cropped her cat’s face and put it on a moth. Why moth? Why not?

Then she captioned it with:

“I TURNED MY CATS INTO A MOTH AND A BEE FHDHJSKSKSKALS”

The trend surely lit the freezing boredom out of some households who followed the trend. It will not end right away and will definitely still go a long way from here.

Boredom can sometimes be beneficial, would you agree?

Sudden ideas like this can spread positivity and joy to many. Cats are not just pets and paw partners. They can also be models.

We just don’t have any idea if they love being fused with a winged insect like a bee!
