20 people takings things way too literally
To be fair, some warnings, slogans, adverts, or signs can have a double meaning. People donât always find the most precise way to let others know that something canât or shouldnât be done.
When you put up a sign thatâs screaming to be misunderstood, be sure that people will probably make the most out of it. Put a good sense of humor in the mix, and you get these 20 photos that serve as proof that anything can be turned into a joke. We do believe that people donât have bad intentions when they come up with such pranks, the world needs fun, and let’s leave it at that.
Enjoy the good laugh!
At least a lot of them flushed!
Just look at that sign in the toilet, the outcome was doomed to happen. Anyway, weâre happy that so many people flushed, and that they had a pen prepared to check-in. One question remains: Will the staff change the sign once itâs been checked completely so that people can keep having fun?!
Poor deer!
The sign says to use coins to feed deers. We bet that theyâve figured out the true meaning, but the temptation is too big. Letâs just hope that deers wonât swallow any of those coins because that could be dangerous for them. Take photos, laugh, just be careful, those sweet animals wonât start eating metal any time soon.
Donât rotate the bill!
Isnât it a relief when you can insert a bill anyway you want, and the machine will still accept it?! Be careful, though, itâs never a good idea to give people too many options or to make them think that they have those options!
So teasing!
Whoever runs the Overwatch Twitter account knows how it’s done.

Donât you just enjoy those hilarious internet geniuses who are great at taking things literally?! Itâs still a photo of skin, but weâre pretty sure that thatâs not what wsxzelas user meant!
So, itâs okay to pile everything except snow?!
When someone specifically tells you not to pile snow on a certain spot, you can still pile the dirt, or garbage, or anything else. Is that correct? Oh, goodie then!
Such a fine, âone-wheeledâ joke
Respect what youâve been told, donât park your bike where youâre not supposed to! How about half of a bike?!
Sauce exploded here!
The instructions are quite clear, youâve got a place to put your sauce at. However, they said nothing about splashing the sauce over! As long as the meal was good, everythingâs acceptable.
Too good at assuming the role!
You are to assume the role of a Chinese immigrant in 1870… [PIC]

A Chinese immigrant would write in Chinese. We see nothing wrong here! This deserves some extra points!
Go to bed!
The doggo was told to go to bed, and he did. Well, technically, he maybe did not lay in the bed, but the leg counts!
On the edge!
Who knows what the edge is anyway? It could be interpreted differently. Or maybe not. We wonder how long it took until the sign fell off.
Pizza in pieces!
Imagine getting this after you ordered pizza! The man asked for the chicken bacon ranch and forgot the keyword â pizza. Well, next time he wonât forget it!
Be gentle with such warnings!

Mortality is real, thatâs the part we can all agree on. But being reminded every now and then that you are going to die â well, there is certainly no need to do so.
Oh man, did they even read what you asked for?!
Roommate needed a blank trophy as a prop…

The man needed a blank trophy, and he made sure to say it clearly that there was no need for any engraving. Well, he ended up with âno engravingâ engraved exactly where the blank was supposed to be.
The paper tasted better!
When you leave some food (for anyone) with a note to eat it, please make sure thatâs edible enough, so that the poor thing doesnât need to eat that paper.
Well, itâs under the doormat!
Someone delivered stuff that is too big to be left under the doormat? No problem, just pick the doormat up and leave it over the stuff, that should do the trick!
Be careful what pranks you play on hungry people!
Last night I asked my husband to put some spaghetti on the stove so I could start dinner when I got home. #clever pic.twitter.com/dQ2GBit72D
— Wendy Rollins (@wendyrollins) May 21, 2014
Wendy asked her husband to put some spaghetti on the stove so that she can make dinner when she gets home! This is what he came up with, and we bet that she wasnât too happy about his silly cooking.
That joke is going to stick!
Saw this above the urinals in the bathroom at work this morning …

Yes, they said to use the bins provided to leave a chewing gum. And then they also put on a drawing of a bin. They certainly didnât mean that someone would see the drawing as âthe bin providedâ.
Oh honey, thatâs not even close. You should be standing on your head!

Letâs take a moment and appreciate her attention to detail. The girl even took her shoes off, to resemble the sign. Well, hand gave her out. She should have been waving them in the air while balancing on her head.
Fish Sticks are having a party!
When instructions say to fry sticks on each side, fry them on each side. Donât think about it, just turn them around. Start making this when youâre not hungry. By the time the frying ends, you will be hungry!
Letâs have fun tossing the pillows!

This looks like a pillow fight waiting to happen. We want to go to that store, too!
