Little bunny sound asleep when owner makes a circle of dill around him – 3 million are in love when he wakes up

We all have something that we’re interested in. While some things may seem strange to others, it might be just the thing you need.

An example of such a thing is autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR).
ASMR was coined in 2010 and defined as “a relaxing, often sedative sensation that begins on the scalp and moves down the body. Also known as “brain massage,” it’s triggered by placid sights and sounds such as whispers, accents, and crackles.” Eating is also considered a trigger.
In other words, it’s like getting “the chills.”

In recent years, these videos have become wildly popular on YouTube. Most people search for these videos around 10 pm local time as it’s mainly used to help one fall asleep. The sounds are subtle and soothing and people from all over have taken an interest in it.
People from all over the world have come to take advantage of the growing demand for ASMR videos.
A user by the name of OneMorePlease has recorded several videos of his pet bunny, Pipkin, catering to the ASMR community. Specifically, there is an abundance of videos of Pipkin eating and sleeping.

The page has made a name for itself by doing a series of videos that show Pipkin being woken up by surrounding him with food items. When he wakes, he eats the items.

Then, his owner hurriedly grabs the camera and gets up-close and personal to the rabbit so the sounds of him eating can be heard loud and clear. While it isn’t for everyone, these videos have amassed to millions of views.
Their page alone has over 125 million views!
In one of their more popular videos, Pipkin is surrounded by dill. When he wakes up, he eats the dill while his owner films it.

Those who run the page give some information on their background in the description. While it reads more like a story, the writers give context on what their videos are about.
“Pipkin rabbit, a free range rabbit sleeping. When the indoor rabbit sleeps, the rabbit dreams of eating. Pipkin rabbit eats, runs, and jumps in his dream, and his sleeping body does the same. After the indoor rabbit falls asleep, we prank the rabbit by surrounding him with dill because he enjoyed our rabbit video waking a sleeping rabbit by surrounding him with carrots and waking a sleeping rabbit by surrounding him with apples so much. Domestic rabbits love eating apples and dill. After the rabbit smells the dill he wakes right up and while the rabbit eats, he does rabbit honks and rabbit squeaks!”
This is only an excerpt from their lengthy description. They also detail what ASMR is and tell viewers not to worry about them waking the rabbit as he takes “about 20 naps a day.”
Other videos show Pipkin eating raisins, ice, apples, oranges, watermelon, amongst other things. There is also a video of when Pipkin finds out that he is adopted. That video has over 14 million views.

Yes, 14 million views! Essentially, the rabbit is sleeping and wakes to being told that he is, in fact, adopted.
Another video titled, “Waking a sleeping rabbit with a firecracker,” really isn’t as bad as it sounds. In fact, the owners simply wake Pipkin by petting him gently with a firecracker that never goes off.

If ASMR is the sort of thing that you think that you would be interested in, you can visit Pipkin’s page to see what all the fuss is about or simply search for other videos online.
