When you see something so tiny and beautiful, you just can’t help but fall in love.

Cats and dogs being friends is already amazing but seeing a big strong American Pitbull being so sweet to a teeny tiny kitten – well, that’s totally beyond amazing!

These two are like the extreme opposites. Considering how large the big ol’ Pittie is, and how tiny and fragile the kitten is, the last thing that you would expect is for them to be full-on best of friends.

One day, the Pitbull’s owner came home with a teeny weeny surprise, and her dog didn’t have any idea what it was.

Slowly, the pet owner introduces the tiny kitten to her big Pitbull sister and starts filming.

Fingers crossed – will they become friends?

She didn’t expect that she’d be able to capture a video that would go so viral! Today, the video that was uploaded 9 years ago by 1984missdaisy has more than a million views. Trust us, you’ll understand why soon enough.

Bringing home a member of the family is always a memorable and exciting experience.

Especially when you see a reaction as priceless as this one.

It’s a big adjustment and the reality is, we can never really tell how animals will react to new fur siblings until they’ve had a chance to meet. Some may take a few days or weeks before they get adjusted, while others might start off being a little aloof, but end up being the best of friends later on anyway.

Now back to these two adorable pets. You’d initially think that the little kitten would be scared of the big Pitbull, but the start of the video shows that this little kitty is super friendly!

Now, the large and excitable Pittie, named Licious, was so shocked at her “present” that she didn’t even dare move.

She was just watching the little kitten as it started exploring Licious’ big paws!

Don’t be fooled by the doggy’s big size. She’s very gentle, and sweet too! The kitty, on the other hand, was very curious and quite playful.

The teeny tiny kitten started to sniff, play and even grabbed onto Licious’ big paws.

In response, Licious was very careful not to move.

She just carefully watches the little explorer play with her eyes full of love, until their owner says:

“What’s that kitty doing to ya, Mama?”

Did you see that tail wag?

We did and at this point, get ready for your heart to melt!

Slowly, Licious started giving the kitten sweet, small kisses.

She didn’t just accept the little kitten, she loved her instantly!

Aside from being an older sibling, Licious seems to have taken on the role of being a mother to the little cat. She started licking the kitten’s tummy, which is a common practice that moms do to stimulate bowel movement.

Aside from that, those sweet little kisses are just too adorable. In the other videos from the owner, you can see how the kitten has grown up to be a beautiful cat and is no stranger to being naughty. Of course, it’s all just in the name of kitty play.

Licious, on the other hand, has remained sweet, patient, and caring and continues to act as a motherly figure to this kitten.
