Do you believe every dog has a purpose?

Most dog owners would agree that each pet is unique, and they are all considered life savers.

They save you from loneliness, sickness, or even in danger, and most of the time, you don’t even realize it.

A rescued pit bull went viral.

His story touched so many people and the sequence of the events led to something really beautiful.

It would make you believe everything happens for a reason.

Neighbors noticed Brutus crying and barking.

When the people tried checking what was bothering the dog, they noticed his surroundings were a mess.

The poor dog was seen in the fence of an empty home.

Upon further investigation, the neighbors found out that Brutus was all alone.

James Chris John, who lives nearby was the one who initially saw Brutus alone and scared.

That’s when he called Unchain Ok.

In just a few minutes, the local animal rescuers came and went inside the home.

Melanie Parkins, the rescuer, saw an abandoned home with lots of dog food scattered.

The home was far from empty.

According to her, the home still had furniture and personal items.

Soon, they found out the real reason the poor dog was abandoned.

It turned out that the previous owners of Brutus fled immediately after they arrested her husband due to drug-related charges.

She was in a hurry and left everything, including a family member.

Melanie and her husband were drawn to Brutus. They adored the dog and gave him the chance to learn how to socialize.

To their surprise, the pitbull knows how to listen to commands.

The couple worked with the sweet dog for many hours each day for a year and a half.

In the first six months of his training, Melanie and her husband learned something about him.

Brutus was extra special.

However, it baffled the people around Brutus because no one wants to adopt him.

After many weeks, Amber and her family adopted Brutus.

Brutus showed his loyalty in week one.

In just one week, everyone learned why fate had led Amber to Brutus.

Everyone was sleeping soundly when Brutus came to Amber’s room.

He kept on bumping her face so she would wake up. When she opened her eyes, Brutus led Amber to her 2-year-old son, Jason.

Jason was having a seizure.

Amber explained that Jason has a seizure disorder, and Brutus came to their lives at the right time.

Four weeks later, another seizure happened and again, Brutus was there to save the little boy.

“Brutus went into the bedroom, grabbed him (Jason) by his shirt collar, pulled him up, and started barking until we got there to him,” Amber said in her interview with FOX 23 News.

It shocked everyone to learn that Brutus didn’t have any training to be a therapy dog.

The family gave Brutus a reward – proper training to be a therapy dog. Soon, this rescued dog found his calling.

In the news report, they said that Brutus had worked in different nursing homes in Southeastern Oklahoma, and many people now appreciate Brutus’ special skill and love.
