Gentle pit bull becomes a foster dad to all the puppies that come through his door – and he takes his job very seriously
Having new puppies at home can be a handful. You will see them wandering almost everywhere, chewing almost everything that they see, accidentally wrecking things, and a bunch more. You need to have an immense amount of patience and bear with all of these.
Well, not for this pit bull’s parents. Why? Because he’s in charge of taking in their new foster puppies!
This pit bull is giving mom and dad lesser stress and more time for themselves because he is taking good care of their new foster puppies.
Riot is a pit bull, but he’s not violent as is assumed of most of the breed. He is even described by his mom as her “soul dog.”
This pittie is taking good care of the new foster puppies that his parents will bring in to their home. Riot is acting like an office-in-charge to the newcomers. But he’s such a sweet leader. They cuddle and play a lot like there is no tomorrow. They would also go for a walk together and their new babies will always tail him as if they are following his lead.
They also snuggle on the bed! He is so patient with the puppies, he probably knows how it feels because he’s been in the same situation before – starting from scratch. That’s why he makes a perfect brother to the puppies.
His parents would sometimes take in really young, innocent puppies. They would often see Riot’s tail waggling and mistakenly take it as a toy. The biggie pit bull would not mind the youngsters biting his tail though – not at all. There were also occasions where their new babies would climb all over him (literally all over him) which was also fine with him.
He was always excited to see their babies. Just how sweet is this dog?
His parents do not know much about his background but what they know is that he is “one-of-a-kind.”
According to his mom, they got Riot from a local animal shelter. He was just a pup when they adopted him, and they learned from his previous foster parents that his name was Riot. Eventually being and living with him finally revealed why he was given that name.
Riot is known to be doing a lot of goofy things, he obviously loves to goof around. He loves wrapping himself with blankets. His mom even calls him a “pittie burrito.” He also gives his toys a bath! He will soak them in his water bowl like he is washing them.
Riot may just look like a simple dog companion, but the truth is he’s doing a lot more to help these puppies’ lives.
The puppies have all the liberty of doing whatever they want to do with Riot. They will chase and bite his tail, they will climb all over him. He is not just a playmate to the puppies but a good brother and life support.
Having Riot beside them makes it easier for them to adapt and learn things that they should learn at a young age. They act like nothing could go wrong because their big brother is there beside them. The young cuties know that their big pittie will never let them down. That is the kind of power and influence that Riot brings to the puppies.
Furthermore, Riot is also a support to his owners. He senses if something is wrong. He will then snuggle with his parents to pacify them and make them feel that he is always there. He will stay close to them, make eye-to-eye contact, lick and kiss them a lot. It is clear that the puppies and his parents are all lucky to have him.
