Wife who has been pregnant every year of her marriage welcomes 11th child
Women who happily waltz into motherhood have different preferences when it comes to the number of kids they want. Some stop at three, some eagerly push for five, then there are those who believe one to two are enough.
And that’s all okay, as long as the kids are always well-taken care of.
Whether you want a big family or not, the important thing is your determination to raise decent human beings and provide the best for them until they’re ready to spread their wings and take off.
And speaking of wanting kids, here’s a mom who makes jaws drop all over.
Courtney Rogers has a simple Instagram bio that sums it up: “11 kids in 10 years.”

Yes, you read that right. Eleven. And she says she’s up for more – up to 14! In an interview with The Sun, Courtney declares,
“We want to have more if we can. We want to have 12 children, a family of 14 even.”

Just thinking about it is exhausting, isn’t it?
The mom from Santa Fe, New Mexico has been pregnant every year since she married Pastor Chris back in 2008.
With six boys and five girls, Courtney hasn’t gone more than nine months without being pregnant.

How do they manage, you ask? Well, Courtney and Pastor Chris live on a 12-acre farm and homeschool their kids. They do have a staggering grocery bill monthly but that’s to be expected with almost a dozen kids. The decision to have a big family also braced Courtney for unnecessary comments and criticism.
“The people who ask how I can give all my kids enough attention are usually those who send their kids off to school. I do not understand their logic when I am around my kids 24 hours a day.”

Not only that, people have gone as far as implying that Courtney had different partners for each child. She shares,
“We’ve also had a few rude encounters. From unpleasant stares to statements like, ‘Did you have them all with the same partner?!’ or ‘Seven kids? That’s terrible!’”

But she’s also encountered innocent questions and wondering remarks from kinder folk.
“Did I mention the staring and comments we get out in public? The ‘You must have your hands full’ comments when I’m out with just two or three of the children are always amusing. If they only knew! Once when I was out with two of my girls, someone asked if I was going to try for a boy. I had to break the news to her that I already had six boys.”
Despite it all, Courtney remains unabashed and focused on what truly matters. She also believes homeschooling her kids is one of the best decisions she’s ever made, seeing as how all of them get to enjoy nature in between lessons and a more flexible routine.

As if the mom of eleven doesn’t have enough on her plate, she’s decided to commit to teaching Sunday school at church, too!

She does admit it gets crazy.
“Even though they may drive me batty at times I can’t imagine being happy doing anything else. Some of the challenges are having multiple babies in diapers, finding more than one sitter at a time, having to book more than one hotel room, driving and parking a 15-passenger van, washing tons of laundry, always cleaning up messes…”
Strongly believing that children are a blessing, Courtney and her husband continue to carry on gracefully as they raise their littles despite the looks, comments, and judgment.
