One of the best things about street performances is that you’ll never know what you’ll get.

In your local convergence sites like commons, park avenues, boardwalks, and such, it is not strange to see an artist playing and showing off their craft.

Busking has always been endearing and entertaining because you get to see a wonderful show while also helping the artist in your little way.

A violin artist is making waves in her local in Simi Valley.

Karolina Protsenko was born in Ukraine to a musical family. The artistic gene runs in their family as her parents both play instruments, namely the piano and the guitar.

They moved to the United States when she was six years old and in the same year, she started her lesson in violin.

Protensko proved to be gifted in the instrument.

She graces the streets of California to share her talents with everyone. She has covered different artists from different genres and executed these arrangements with ease.

She performed classics like Bee Gees’ How Deep Is Your Love, The Beatles’ Eleonor Rigby, Numb by Linkin Park, and even ABBA’s hit classic Dancing Queen.

Everywhere she performs, people are sure to gather.

In one of her performances, however, she was graced by the presence of a very special guest. She was playing Dua Lipa’s Levitating on the streets when one tiny audience member become mesmerized with her moves.

Protensko, along with her impeccable musicality, also loves to mix in some moves when she’s playing. She did so in her rendition of Levitating where she played the tunes while spinning on her heels and jigged with her legs.

People were obviously impressed.

All around her, people were dancing to the music with their kids or taking a video of her performance. One of these people was a mom who sat just a few steps away from Protensko.

Then, without any warning, the little girl jumped on her feet and bobbed with the music. She can’t seem to contain the vibes and just let herself dance to the music much to the musician’s delight.

From that point on, Protensko’s attention was entirely the little girl’s.

She even knelt down to her level so she can coax her better to dance. The little girl didn’t let up, though. She waved her hands and jumped to her heart’s content.

The applause and the tips are always welcome but we think, when an artist compels someone to enjoy the work they’re sharing, it must be such a fulfilling sight. After all, isn’t that one of the goals of a performance?

It wasn’t only Protensko who enjoyed the performance.

Protensko has 3 YouTube channels and in less than 4 years, her followers blew up to 10 million scattered in over 50 countries.

The video with the child dancing was posted just last June of this year but it has already garnered over 39 million views.
