Sweet pup finds the fluffiest dogs in daycare to sleep on after playtime

Most of us tend to absolutely love our sleep time, and Edna is no different! The sweet little Pitbull has been going to daycare ever since she was just a young puppy. Of all the silly things that the pup loves to do, though, there is one pastime that stands out against all the rest.

The Pittie pup absolutely adores falling asleep on her fluffy friends.

Edna has a pretty simple routine when it comes to filling up her time at daycare. The only thing the pup loves more than napping, seemingly, is playing, and man does she ever hit it hard in that arena.

When the pup arrives at the daycare, the first thing she does is play as long and as hard as she can.

She’ll go at it for hours (roughly four of them) before she hits a wall of absolute exhaustion. When she does, it’s onto favorite pastime number two; naps.

The thing about taking a nap in such a noisy, energy-filled place is that it isn’t always easy to find a quiet, cozy spot.

Fortunately for this Pitbull pup, she’s pro-status when it comes to thinking outside of the box.

So, what should a sleepy puppy do when looking for a place to rest her head in a noisy area with concrete floors and tons of dogs? Use their environment to their advantage.

That’s right! when Edna decides it’s time to visit the dream world, she goes and finds the fluffiest looking dog and cozies up for a nap.

The pup isn’t all that discriminatory when it comes to finding a cozy dog to cuddle up on, either. Sure, giant fluffy dogs with their bushy tails are a favorite. If there isn’t one at rest, though, she will seek out even the smaller dogs for cuddles, so long as they’re comfy.

Fortunately for the tiny Pitbull, her cuddle companions always seem more than willing to let her lay her head.

All the dogs seem to enjoy the snuggling company. Even the tiny wiener dogs,” explains Edna’s close family member, Brianna Gottfried, in an interview with The Dodo.

Edna started this behavior when she was just a tiny pup.

Now that she’s grown to her full size, however, she still seeks out her other furry, four-footed companions when she’s feeling sleepy.

In fact, the small little Pittie refuses to find a different method for her much loved nap time. Also, once she’s planted herself on a fluffy friend, that’s where she stays until it’s time to go. No matter how long of a nap that may be.

Once daycare has ended and it’s time for all of the dogs to go home with their owners, Gottfried says that Edna has to first be found. Of course, she’s never too hard to find. One only has to look at the nearest dog with a comfy coat and who appears to be completely immobilized.

From there it’s usually pretty easy to spot the pup, and then it’s time to pry her from her resting place.

When itโ€™s time to go home I always have to peel her off of another dog,” Gottfried says.

While it is definitely an odd behavior, it’s also an absolutely adorable one. This sweet Pittie knows just what life is all about. Having fun with your friends and cozying up for a warm, comfy nap together. Talk about living the good life.
