What makes a puppy extra special? They are tender, little, cute, furry, delicate, and sweet. They are fur-balls that makes life a lot happier and lighter. They are not just mere pets, they are sometimes used as stress-relievers and emotional support systems to some people.

Just having a dog alone is something that makes a person or family a lot happier.

But, what if we told you that there is a puppy who has an extra tail growing out of its forehead? Would he still be called a puppy? Or a unicorn dog instead? Can you imagine how it would look? And, of course, the ultimate question: does it wag?

A stray puppy with an extraordinary facial feature was rescued, and it is one of the oddest things that you will probably see.

Mac’s Mission is a non-profit and state-licensed animal rescue in Jackson, Missouri. They stumbled upon a dog-duo, a little pup accompanied by an older dog, who were both wandering outside the cold and unattended.

Later, they noticed that the pup was no ordinary baby dog as he literally had an extra tail and it is growing out of its forehead.

They thought that the pup looked like the legendary creature, a unicorn! Having said this, they decided to name the baby dog Narwhal. Narwhals are medium-sized toothed whales with a large tusk from a protruding canine tooth. They accustomed both the mythical horse (unicorn) and the real-life sea creature to each other.

Narwhal’s tail had people asking, “Does it wag?”

Mac’s Mission animal rescue posted Narwhal’s extraordinarily cute photos, and since then, they have been swarmed with questions coming from curious observers on the internet. The most asked question has got to be, “Does the puppy’s forehead tail wag?”

The thought of it would really be awesome. Sadly, however, his kind keepers revealed that it doesn’t seem to move.

After Narwhal’s initial rescue, rescue staff immediately brought him to the vet’s where they concluded that his extra tail is of no use to him since it is not connected to anything. On that note, however, there is also no need for the forehead tail to be removed because it doesn’t seem to bother him at all.

While having this extra tail, Narwhal seemed to be a normal pup. He has never shown any kind of mood, gesture, or sign that he is different. But the rescue decided to keep him as he grew to ensure the tail would not become a problem in the future. After that, once everything is all clear, Narwhal will be up for adoption.

People instantly fell in love with Narwhal, and this assures them that they will likely be flooded with adoption requests. Just look at that angelic face!
