There’s no question that puppies pull at your heartstring, especially when they appear to be lost or abanded. How amazing, this little puppy will melt your heart!

Officers Mercado and Tavera, were on their regular patrol when they saw a puppy wandering around alone near Hobart Boulevard in, Los Angeles, California.
They named him ‘Hobart’ after the street they found him near, before taking him to the Ghetto Rescue Foundation. The police officers’ also checked if the puppy had been lost, but soon they learned he was indeed abandoned.
Even though they initially took him to the shelter, Officer Mercado couldn’t shake the connection he felt and decided to adopt him
After all, Hobart had been following Officer Mercado around as he had already chosen him to be his new father. So the kind-hearted cop went back to the Ghetto Rescue Shelter and made it official.
