The two babies in this video love spending time together, even though one’s a human baby and the other’s a fur baby.

When Ian came into the world, his parents had to idea that their next baby was right around the corner.

One morning, they woke up and found a tiny puppy tied to their fence.

The mom and dad went outside and couldn’t believe that anyone would abandon such an adorable animal.

They took the puppy inside their home. Just a couple of minutes later, the dog had also made a home inside the parents’ hearts.

For a moment, they tried saying that they couldn’t take the puppy in. They had just had a child, and he would be a major handful alone.

They gave the puppy a bath, trying their hardest to hide their affection for the animal.

That evening, the puppy snuggled up with them on the couch. Both of the parents realized that the dog was a part of the family now.

Over the next few days, they named the puppy Callie, bought her a name tag and showered her with affection. Of course, these were stressful times. The parents were right in thinking that a puppy and a baby would be a handful. But they also knew that this was a very special experience.

One day, something happened that perfectly summed up how great it was having a newborn human and a newborn puppy under the same roof.

One day, Ian fell asleep on his play mat. Callie trotted up to him and stared at him. The dog clearly felt as if the boy was her brother.

The sight of the sleeping baby was clearly having an effect on the puppy. She started rocking back and forth. The puppy tried to straighten up. But she was getting sleepier.

After that, the puppy shuffled to the edge of the mat, trying to look at something that wouldn’t make her so sleepy. But she realized that her sleepiness wasn’t going away any time soon. So she shuffled back over to baby Ian and rested her head on his head.

Soon, Callie had fallen into a deep sleep.

Luckily, the dad was filming this moment. He uploaded it to YouTube, where it soon became a huge viral hit. To date, an incredible 92 million people have viewed the video. It also has over 500,000 likes and 27,000 comments. People have been saying things like this:

It hardly needs to be said, but over the years, Callie and Ian have grown up to become the closest of friends/siblings.

When Ian and Callie were three-years-old, their dad uploaded another video of them. Both had done a lot of growing and were much more energetic!

One thing in the video that showed just how close Callie is with Ian was that she only sat when he told her to. Their mom said “sit” as well, but Callie only had ears for Ian.

Callie is incredibly lucky. By chance, she found not only the perfect forever home, not but also a perfect sibling!
