One day, the Northeast Animal Rescue in China got a call saying that a black puppy was found wandering beside a country road. They wasted no time and jumped right into action!

They recorded the rescue and amassed over 2.2 million views online.

It wasn’t clear if the caller made an attempt to rescue the pup or not. As soon as they reached their destination, they saw a black pup laying on the bushy ground, surrounded by trees.

As the Northeast Animal Rescue explained in the video of the pup’s rescue:

“We received a call saying a black puppy appeared near the country road. We rushed to the location to search along the road. We found a puppy on the edge of the woodland by the road.”

The pup didn’t seem to be in danger, it was also not injured. Nothing seemed to be strange as it looked like it was just comfortably resting.

To their surprise, when the rescuers got out of their vehicle, the cute pup didn’t seem scared at all.

One YouTube user commented, expressing a hunch about what had happened to the pup:

“Somebody abandoned those puppies. They’re clearly used to being around humans.”

Another user wrote:

“They looked like they were young but perfectly normal pups so they had to have been alive for a very good amount of time plus they weren’t feral in the slightest and were actually the opposite so it’s likely they’ve had a lot of human interaction and later got dumped.”

In fact, as soon as the pup saw the rescuers, it jumped off its feet showing joy and excitement.

When the rescuers got close enough to the adorable puppy, it glanced back towards somewhere in the distance and then hopped ecstatically. It looked like the pup wanted them to follow the lead- like it wanted to show them something.

The rescuers abided and followed the pup to where it was headed.

When they reached a downhill portion of the woods, they were surprised by what they discovered!

They saw another black pup and as they roamed around a little farther, they saw another.

It was a total of three pups, two boys and one girl, all of the same color. It then became clear that the first pup wanted them to know that he was not alone.

The puppy siblings were scattered meters away from each other, it could be that they tried to walk somewhere by themselves.

Luckily the first pup got far enough which eventually led to their discovery.

Just like the first pup, the other two were just as excited to see humans.

Could it be that the online viewers were right with their thoughts? The pups weren’t frightened by the rescuers’ presence, they loved it instead.

The lady rescuer brought out a bottle of water and poured it into a container and invited the pups to drink. One of the puppies rushed over to quenched its thirst, then the other two eventually followed.

It turned out that they were not just thirsty but hungry too.

The lady rescuer then brought some dog food and the three cuties gobbled it in an instant. It was obvious that they hadn’t had enough water or food for quite some time.

As they explained in the video:

“The way they gobbled meant they hadn’t eaten and drunk for some time. It also meant that mom hadn’t been back for some time. Something must have happened to mom. We waited for a long time but mom never showed up we decided to take them away.”

This led one online viewer to comment:

“You didn’t find the mother dog because someone dumped those puppies.”

These pups need our help!

In the meantime, the rescuers are taking care of the pups whom they named Panther, Bear, and Myna.

Breeding dogs is not a bad thing but isn’t it just a lot better to adopt homeless dogs just like these three adorable pups?

Let us all consider visiting a local animal shelter in our area and make this world a better place for these poor pooches that want nothing but a forever home and family.
