Some dogs love water. Others hate it. This little husky detests it, and he wants his owner to know.
When you were a kid, did you hate bathtime? Many kids did, and they’d do anything to get out of it. The little husky puppy in this video is just the same.
The husky’s owner starting filling up the tub. The puppy knew what this noise meant and tried to run away. Pretty soon, one of the puppy’s owners found him hiding under a chair.
Eventually, the owner got him out.
The puppy’s other owner told the puppy that it was time for him to go into the bath. The puppy yapped loudly in defiance at this. Clearly, he had also learned the word “bath.”
The owner kept on telling the husky to take a bath, and the husky kept on yapping back.
The husky’s brother was next to him. He liked bath time and couldn’t understand why his sibling hated them so much. He just looked on as the other one kept on yapping.
The owner explained to the annoyed husky that he would look and smell better if he had a bath.
The puppy’s yapping turned into a quieter whining. It seemed as if he was reluctantly accepting what his owner was saying.
So the owner said, “Let’s go!” to the puppy. The puppy yapped a little more and then started groaning, as if to say “Can’t you carry me instead?”
Luckily, this footage then made its way online, where it soon went viral. To date, the video has gained over 2.5 million views. It also has more than 51,000 likes and 1,200 comments. People have been saying things like this:
Of course, the husky’s yapping was incredibly cute, but that wouldn’t always be the case. Eventually, the owners would get annoyed.
Huskies are possibly the loudest dogs in the world. But they are also responsive to training. It takes some time, but huskies can be taught to keep it down.

One thing that helps with teaching huskies to be quieter is to teach them to talk on command.
That sounds like the opposite thing to teach to a loud dog, but it’s a good way to get into the dog’s head that you’re trying to manage the sounds that they’re making.
To get a husky to be less noisy, you need to get a bag of treats.
At first, don’t try to tell your husky to stop making noises. Instead, wait for them to tire themself out. Then, when the dog stops making noises, praise them and give them a treat. Over time, the dog will realize that you’re rewarding them for being quiet.
After a few days of giving rewards for being quiet, you should then start saying “quiet” before giving the dog treats and praise. Eventually, the husky will learn that quiet means “stop making noise.”
A husky will always be a noisy dog, but with this method, you can definitely get them to stop making noises when it’s inconvenient.
