There’s a bit of variety in these flowers, it’s not uncommon to find these petunias with very large hearts and just a tad of yellow, for example. However, these two colors are always present and it results in a great contrast that makes sure these flowers stand out in the garden.

Of course, you can just simply plant them in your garden soil, but they look absolutely stunning in other manners as well.

Let’s talk about the practicalities of this beautiful flower. They’ll bloom from the early spring season all the way through the end of autumn. There is one thing you have to take into account, however. If you live in warmer regions, it’s best to plant these beautiful flowers in some shade so the excess sunlight doesn’t damage the petals. Queen of hearts usually can hold their own against harsher weather, but the sun is always something to look out for. After all, it’s important to make sure they don’t dry out.

There’s a little bit of monthly maintenance if you’d like a blooming garden in the summer and fall, just feed a bit of high-iron fertilizer.
