Quick and easy garlic mozzarella bread recipe
The holy trinity of food exists in this one complete dish. Bread, cheese, and garlic come together to create everything that is good in this world. After trying this fast and easy recipe, you may be a believer yourself!

If you have ever been up late at night watching delicious food videos hoping you won’t break and run to the kitchen, this recipe is the king of them all. The cool part is that it even includes a bread recipe to make it with homemade bread!
Here is the recipe!
There are three pieces to this. The dough, garlic butter, and the cheese.
Ingredients:
Dough
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry fast-acting yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 beaten egg
- A sprinkling of all-purpose flour while kneading
- 250 grams Mozzarella cheese (or whatever stretchy cheese you have available)
Garlic Butter
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- A razor for scoring
- Egg wash (for the edges of the bread)
- Freshly cracked black pepper
Directions!
- Mix your yeast and flour together, along with your sugar, salt, and egg. Add your milk and butter and mix with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough comes together.
- Place onto a floured work surface and knead and fold the dough until smooth.
- Cover and let rest until doubled in size.
- While resting, slice up your low moisture mozzarella
- Flatten your dough and score it in a crosshatch pattern acres the top.
- Brush down the edges with egg wash
- Combine your softened butter, salt, scallions, and garlic in a bowl
- Using a spoon, cover your dough with the mixture
- Using a spoon, separate the lines to make room for the cheese
- Add the cheese slices into the grooves, making sure they are firmly placed.
- Add fresh cracked pepper on top
- Place in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes
- When it is golden brown and the cheese has melted, you are done!
