We also have business owners who take a different route that benefits all.

What does that mean, exactly? Well, not all business owners are in it for profit.

Some of them genuinely care for their customers and understand how life isn’t the same for everyone.

This is what motivates them to follow through with better business practices and smart strategies that make their product accessible to all.

Aldi Supermarkets is a good example.

In fact, their description reads,

“We do things differently, but for a very good reason: our commitment to bringing you the lowest prices on a wide range of high-quality products.”

How are they able to sell their meat for significantly lower prices compared to competitors?

First, a brief introduction.

Aldi Supermarkets, founded in 1946 by brothers Karl and Theodore Albrecht, is a common brand of two German family-owned discount supermarket chains.

They have over 10,000 stores in 20 countries.

So how can Aldi Supermarkets offer inexpensive but top-quality meats?

They keep things on the small side, specifically the number of employees and products on the shelves.

There are no fancy cuts, and inventory is kept at a minimum.

By doing this, the chances of overhead and unsold products going to waste are much lower.

Their strategy is uncomplicated and makes perfect sense.

They get their meats from regional farms – which means low travel costs for transporting.

You won’t see big brand names on their shelves, either. They carry lesser-known brands apart from their own.

Aldi Director of Operations, Tom Cindel, adds,

“If you’re hell-bent on having a certain brand, you may not find that, but what we’re offering is the same quality or better. And we tested for that incredibly carefully.”

Their customers are always highly satisfied with the quality of their meat.

Aldi may not have a butcher to cut meat to your specifications, but the savings more than make up for it.

This isn’t even perceived as an inconvenience. In fact, customers frequently express their appreciation for Aldi’s discount pricing and product quality.

Customer feedback speaks volumes.

A customer on Chowhound shared,

“I was really surprised at how ultra-fresh the meat items appeared. I bought a pack of pork chops and baby back ribs two days ago, and the meat still looks like it was processed today.”

Another customer took to the comments section on YouTube to weigh in.

“Just finished our monthly grocery shopping at Aldi. Their meat is amazing – we get steaks that are phenomenal. I recommend it to everyone who’s trying to save money.”
