Giant dog melts 2.7M hearts with the cutest ‘driveway greeting’ for owner
A dog is man’s best friend and there’s no doubt about it.
Yes, our family loves us unconditionally, but the bond that develops between a human and a dog is really incomparable.
Our children will always love us, but they soon grow up and don’t need us anymore. They open their wings and fly away to live their own life.
This does not apply to our furry friends. They grow up with us and are always by our side, never refusing a tail wag, never denying a belly rub or cuddles on the sofa.
They will always be sad when you leave for work, and they’ll always be there wagging their tail uncontrollably when you return home.
This is true for all dogs, but there’s something really special about Great Danes.
This breed is also known as the”Apollo of Dogs”, an absolute joy to live with.
While their appearance might look a little intimidating, especially because of their height- they can be up to 32 inches at the shoulder-, they are truly the cutest.
They are actually alert home guardians, but they are as sweet as a dog can be. They are what one would call “gentle giants”.
Everyone who has once owned a Great Dane knows exactly what we are talking about.
Just like the woman in the video below, who adopted a dog belonging to this breed and never regretted it.
The woman shared a video on YouTube, in which her dog was captured blocking the driveway as she was getting back from work.
In the video, we can see the huge dog sitting in the middle of the driveway, waiting for his mama to get out of the car.
The woman, who has obviously realized she’s not going to make it any further before giving her doggo some hugs, gets out of the car.
The beautiful dog gets back on his paws and makes his way to his owner, who is waiting to give him some rubs.
The animal can’t stop wagging his tail as he approaches the young woman.
He can’t stop running circles around her, as he smells her and probably gives her a few licks.
“One of the greatest gifts one can receive is the gift of life. Rescue a Great Dane,” the woman writes in the description of the video.
Indeed, rescue animals who have once suffered and been abused totally deserve a second chance and are worthy of all the love a human can give them.
The video has gone viral with more than 2.7 million views, while numerous people have commented about how loving Great Danes are.
“I had a Great Dane too but he died 4 years ago at the age of 11… he was one of the most friendly dog I had ever seen and I loved him a lot,” someone wrote.
