Griffi, the dancing cockatoo, is here to show you just how much birds can appreciate a good quality playlist.

The birdie has had a rough life, but his luck changed when a foster family in Florida rescued him.

Right away, you’ll notice that Griffi doesn’t look like other birds.

His feathers are torn and patchy. However, Griffi’s channel also says that “looks aren’t everything,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Ever since Snowball, probably one of the most famous dancing cockatoos, blew the scientists’ minds with 14 unique dance moves, the world’s been closely watching parrots who love music.

Do you remember Snowball’s dancing video that went viral in 2007? Well, Snowball and Griffi have a lot in common.

Let’s start with a phenomenal groove they both displayed as soon as the quick beat was on.

Two cockatoos seem to equally enjoy being on the stage.

Griffi dances on the porch, and he’s moving all around. The little fellow is fast at switching between moves, and we couldn’t believe our eyes.

We are delighted that Griffi found a loving family because his happiness shows off in the little dance.

Feel free to check out Griffi’s friends at the Florida Parrot Rescue. Maybe you’ll be able to provide a warm home for one of them.

Fosters from Florida Parrot Rescue met Griffi when he was sick, depressed, and abandoned. After they helped the parrot heal, there was no going back. Griffi’s mommy and daddy couldn’t let go of him.

The happy family is often blessed with Griffi’s slick moves, and they love to film everything. Check out another video of Griffi’s headbanging in front of the mirror. Silly baby.

Can you train your parrot to dance?

First of all, remember that parrots are impressionable. They love to imitate everyone from their surroundings.

Therefore, you’ll probably be able to train your parrot to dance if you dance along.

Try to catch the moment when your bird wants your attention, and play a fast-paced song with a strong beat.

Now, do the moves yourself while keeping eye contact with the parrot.

Start with head bobbing and slowly progress towards more complex movements. However, parrots have short attention spans. Make sure to stop when you notice that your bird has had enough. Most importantly, prepare a treat to reward every great move they make. Before you know it, your cockatoo will be dancing around just like Griffi does.

As for little Griffi, you’re a good boy.
