Rescued baby mini-horse who spent life being raised with dogs thinks she’s one of them
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your pets were partnered with creatures you wouldn’t ordinarily adopt for your home?
You’ve probably heard some amusing and heartwarming tales of cats and dogs learning to dwell happily under one roof.
Well, this horse did the same.
If you’ve never seen a tiny horse, you’ll enjoy learning more about them.
You won’t be able to help but gush and seek a closer look when you see one.
But these horses are much more than just cute-looking animals.
For a horse to be classified as tiny, it must be shorter than 3 feet tall.
Now that’s really tiny.
This characteristic will undoubtedly make you think of children and how much pleasure it is to have them around the house.
Once you come to know one, you’ll also develop attachments, and it’s comforting to know that they may live up to one-third longer than the typical horse.
They continue to consume the regular diet of grass, hay, and grains but in a much lesser quantity.
Because of that, they live longer.
This tale demonstrates that there is much more to tiny horses than how they look.
The story begins, according to Luna’s human mother, on a depressing note but with a chance to provide the horse with a better existence.
“Shortly after Luna was born, her mother rejected her in such a way that it became dangerous for her. And we had no choice but to remove her from her mother,” her mom said.
She had no choice.
The moment the veterinarian declared Luna to be an orphan, the solution seemed clear.
They brought her inside and made the decision to look after her.
“She immediately became part of the family. My day revolved around Luna. She was a bottle baby, so I would get up in the morning, give her a bottle and I would take her in the front yard and just let her and Cooper run and play,” she recalled.
They fought for Luna’s life.
It appears that Luna considers herself to be a dog since she has grown accustomed to being among them.
The family had to somehow retrain her to be a horse as a result.
How adorable and clueless this little horse is.
Luna became accustomed to accompanying her human mom on errands in addition to the “training” and the daily routine of being fed and allowed to play with her canine friends.
She just required a bottle on each journey.
Their home became happier.
Luna and the dogs have such a joyful, chaotic home.
It may certainly become chaotic and noisy, but isn’t that all part of the experience?
They got along brilliantly and offered so much love and fun to everyone, sharing everything from daily outside play to bedding.
They are one happy family.
