All the flora and fauna found in different corners of the globe have their own backstory.

With so many animals in so many different places, it’s a given that we don’t know enough about most of them.

Photographers are of big help in showing us the wild and funny side of different species. Especially passionate photographers who love nature.

Their works of art capture all the wonders of the environment that most of us won’t ever witness.

Photographers go on dangerous hikes, delving in the deepest parts of a forest or climbing the highest mountain just for that one perfect shot.

They can also capture a memorable photo just from the side of the road.

One photographer captured this adorable moment for all to see.

Hannie Heere is a Dutch wildlife photographer from the city of Dordrecht in The Netherlands.

Her stunning pictures of nature and animals have made her a sensation.

She’s always enjoyed photography but it was only when her kids grew up and left home that she actively pursued her hobby.

Hannie decided to take serious photography courses where learned all the techniques to master her passion. All this just before turning 60.

The 63-year-old photographer was near a barn capturing snapshots of owls when a tiny owl came running in the middle of the road.

She quickly took photos of the rare scene unfolding in front of her.

It’s rare and unusual since barn owls don’t flap their wings until they are seven weeks old.

In the first seven weeks, barn owls do not move their wings.

They just hop around until they are ready to open their wings and attempt to fly.

What happens is they slowly develop their muscles so they can fly. They simply focus their energy on walking around to get to places first.

So they’re basically like human toddlers minus the noise and chaos.

The newly hatched owl was exploring its surroundings when Hannie found it.

She says of the moment the little bird was running around.

“I was lying on the ground,” Heere said. “This baby bird has not yet flown and is not afraid. I took the picture from a distance of about 5 to 6 meters.”
