At first glance, this looks like some sort of crazy cult ritual. Instead, it’s some school kids expressing their creativity and bringing joy to all.
Imagine if you were in a darkened room and a group of people walked out wearing bags that clung to their skin and covered their entire bodies. You’d probably be pretty freaked out and want to escape as soon as possible, unless you were a parent of a kid in this high school.
The kids had come up with a crazy dance routine involving the body stocking like bags. And they were determined to get it right. The performance must be seen to be believed.
The kids all milled about in the dark as classical music played. They assumed their positions and started dancing in unison to the music.
Then Jame’s Brown’s I Feel Good started playing, and the lights came up. Suddenly, the parents could see their kids in all their bodystockinged glory.
The kids wore bags/bodystockings of five colors. Closest to the stage, there were four kids in pink bags. Behind them, there were four kids in light blue bags. Behind them, there were kids in yellow, purple and black bodystockings.
They moved to I Feel Good, making the entire audience laugh, jumping all over the stage in sequence. They were surprisingly spry considering the constricting outfits.
Next Hammertime by MC Hammer started playing. The kids all formed a single line and danced the song’s distinctive dance, the clothing shimmering as they did so.
Then all the kids except for the black stockinged kids lay on the floor. Then the black stockinged kids lay on top of the other rows of kids and slid over them.
The next song to play was Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by C+C Music Factory. The kids all once more stood up in a line. Then they grabbed each other’s waists and did the conga back and forth.
Then they all separated and started dancing around like crazy. It looked like when you put a bunch of colorful clothes in the washing machine and they all whirl around.
Next the song You Make Me Wanna Shout by the Isley Brothers started playing. The kids all started jumping into the air.
Then the kids all punch danced into the air in groups and froze into certain positions.
The lights went out and the audience started cheering, but the kids weren’t done yet.
When the lights went back up, the kids were all in lines of their own bag colors, and they all performed some more dance moves in these lines.
The performance went back to crazy dancing until the lights went out once more.
The crowd cheered as loudly as they could. No one had seen any performance quite like that before!
Luckily, someone was filming the entire thing. They uploaded it to their YouTube channel, where it made quite an impact. To date, the video has gained almost 300,000 likes. It also has over 1,000 likes. There is also a range of appreciative comments. People have been saying things like this:
