Even the family pets get spoiled at Christmas but there are some who appear as though they may be missing out.

This Canine Decided To Go Do Her Own Christmas Shopping For Herself

Kera is an 11-year-old Siberian Husky who is the family pet of a loving family. She has the freedom of her backyard that is protected with an invisible fence, but somehow she mastered getting past this so she could set out on her Christmas journey.

A Lengthy Journey To Her Shopping Spot

All in all from her home to the shoplifting crime scene Kera walked about a distance of 5.9 miles tackling two freeways along the way.

A Visit To Smiths’ Food & Drug

Kera was obviously a dog on a mission

She had no hesitation entering the store and started by first checking out a young girl at the cash check out.

Carrying on through the store she knew enough to make a left turn that was going to take her just when her nose was obviously guiding her to.

The Pet Isle

Isle 16 is the pet aisle and for this canine, it must bring the same joy that the candy aisle would to a child. There were plenty of doggie treats to choose from, but Kira was not going to waste any time getting caught.

A Quick Snatch

Kira’s choice of stolen goods was a rawhide bone. Which once she had retrieved she was ready for a quick exit.

Busted

The manager caught on to the canine culprit and confronted her with a command to drop it. But she was not about to give up her heist so easily as she headed out the door.

Kera made her way back home traveling the same distance.

Kira’s Heist Hit The News

When the Stirling family heard the news about the dog shoplifting they immediately suspected their furry canine family member.

They loaded her into the family hummer to pay a visit to the store to see if she was going to fess up.

Confirmation

The manager who had to give the unanswered command to drop the bone on the day of the incident confirmed that this was the thief.

Collaboration

Several employees backed up the manager’s identification. Not to mention that the whole incident had been caught on the store security system as well.

Turning Her Lose

They let Kira off the lease to see what she would do. True to form she followed her nose back to the crime scene. Perhaps hoping that history would repeat itself.

He was asked if he was feeling guilty or proud, and with a laugh, he said” a little bit of both”.

Kira is a Roamer

This 11-year-old has no intention of being restricted with the security fence that is supposed to set her boundaries.

As they were about to leave the store Kira made a stop at the cash register. The payment was made for her new treat as well as the one that she had shopped lifted just prior to Christmas.
