Big family with 8 kids gets in the festive spirit with a flawless family dance routine

Christmas is nearly here, and all over the world, people are getting in the festive spirit! They’re buying gifts for their loved ones, wrapping up warm in big, fuzzy sweaters, buying lots of tasty food in time for the big day, and generally just having a whole lot of fun with their nearest and dearest.

A lot of families have holiday traditions they like to enjoy at this festive time of year. Maybe you and your family all sit down and watch the same movie on Christmas Eve, for example, or perhaps you like to go and sing carols around the neighborhood.

Well, one big family has a tradition you won’t want to miss out on: an annual Christmas dance!

Each year, this amazing family puts on a show and prepares a fun, rhythmic dance routine, and this one is simply fabulous! It starts off with the family members, including eight siblings, all frozen in place, waiting for the beat to hit.

Justin Bieber’s version of ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ begins to play. If you haven’t heard the song before, it starts off with industrial noises like train horns and clanking metal, and the family moves in time with the noise, bending their arms and flexing in sync with one another.

Then, the real tune begins to play and happy smiles spread across the family members’ faces as they really get into the groove. Every member of the family, young and old, gets involved with the routine. They all move with amazing coordination and it’s clear that the whole dance has been expertly choreographed from start to finish.

It begins quite simply, but before long, the kids are pulling off some crazy moves, rolling around on each other’s backs and diving across the carpet with style.

They probably usually have a couple of sofas in this living room but must have had to clear the whole place out for all those acrobatics! As the dance draws to a close, the family has one last surprise in store for all of us to end their routine with a big dose of festive flair!

As the music builds up, we see a bunch of them crouch down on the ground. Then a few others run in and start climbing on their backs. Yep, they’re making a human pyramid!

The youngest member of the family climbs right to the top, almost knocking her head on the ceiling as she spreads her arms and strikes a pose! Moments later, the bottom of the pyramid collapses and the whole family falls onto the floor, laughing happily before getting back to their feet and inviting grandma and grandpa into the living room for a freestyle dance session to end the clip.

My family’s annual Christmas tradition is to make a dance to a Christmas song. There are 8 children in my family and half of us are now married with our own kids. This year is our 4th annual music video (and) … It’s our best work yet. Another fun fact is that every year we wear our Mother’s quirky Christmas sweaters!”

More than 4.4 million people have watched the clip so far.
