However, during these times of uncertainty, we can still look at things that will show us the brighter side of life. One good source is social media, there, we can find funny and inspirational videos that will give us a glimpse of hope, even for just a short while.
One of which was a video taken by a Japanese guy named Kazuki Ikeda. It was a mesmerizing footage that will make you think twice about the existence of fairy tales.
A magical place like no other.

The Nara Park, in Nara, Japan, hosts a large area with lots of cherry trees. When these cherry trees (more popularly known as Sakura flower trees in Japan) are in bloom, they shower the entirety of the park with pink blossoms.
Apart from the eye-catching cherry blossoms, the Nara Park is also known for its Sika deers inhabitants. These animals, which are more than a thousand in number, are being considered by the Japanese as one of their natural treasures.

Thus, they vow to love and protect the Sika deers not only because it promotes tourism but it sustains the natural flow of the ecosystem in the area.
Worth visiting.

Normally, tourists buy treats called “deer crackers” to feed the Sika deers. This type of deer is already accustomed to interacting with people, they even developed an adorable way of asking for food – they bow down their heads.
According to Japan’s tourist board, the Sika deers in Nara Park are “very playful and friendly.”

They also tell their guests that “It is possible to walk up to the deer and take a photograph with them or feed them with deer crackers on sale along the side of the road.”
The right moment.
Kazuki Ikeda was preparing for a prenup photoshoot for a young couple when he filmed the delicate moment when the Sika deers were comfortably laid on sakura blossoms while being shedded by the cherry trees.

As Ikeda was taking snaps of the soon-to-be couple, the unbelievable sight brought by the combination of the animals’ innocence and the sakura blossoms captivated him. They stole the spotlight and looking at them is like living in a fairy tale, wouldn’t you agree?
For a seasoned photographer like Ikeda, seeing the magnificent sight was still too good for his eyes. Some might even say it was just all camera tricks or special effects.
Online buzz.
Ikeda decided to share the exquisite footage on Twitter and to no surprise, it went viral!
As of this writing, the video has already amassed 2.2 million views! On top of that, it also has tens of thousands of retweets and likes. Looks like a lot of people loved it when they saw real-life footage of what seemed to have only existed in animated movies.
