Simon Cowell is known for his fierce and straightforward comments to those aspiring to audition for America’s Got Talent.

So, getting his attention would mean you must rise above the rest of the flock.

Meet 11-year-old Madison Taylor Baez.

During one of the breaks, Maddie was invited to show her talent along with others from the audience.

After the mic was handed over to her, she sang her rendition of “Amazing Grace” without background music.

She has dreamed of being part of the show since she was four.

Her dad promised that she would someday be able to go, and now that she had the chance, Maddie would not let it pass without making a mark.

The audience was left in awe after hearing her powerful voice. She also caught the attention of the judges, which made them turn their seats.

Hearing her voice, Simon got curious and asked her to sing on stage.

Even the audience agreed to have her showcase her talent on the stage. Heidi commented on Madison,

“You sounded so good!”

Madison was so emotional to have her dreams come alive.

She was overwhelmed with support.

After recovering from the overpowering support received, she was motivated to sing as her audition piece.

She sure knows her way how to amaze her audience! Maddie delivered the song in a very powerful way despite her young age.

Hitting the high notes looks like a piece of cake for her.

Singing out a few lines from the song showed how great her voice is, which made the audience give her a standing ovation.

Cowell encouraged her to sing more.

He was astonished at how prolific Maddie was while delivering the song.

Baez did not fail her fans and again let out a high-octave tone.

Her performance took the breath away from the judges, and she ended very well, which made the audience ecstatic again.

When asked about her future plans if she won the competition, the girl shied away and answered,

“I don’t even know.”

Maddie suddenly cried and shared that her father had been battling stage four colon cancer for nine years. She shared that some of her prizes might go to his medication.

With such an amazing voice and a beautiful heart, Maddie deserves a spot in her dream.

She deserves a golden buzzer.

When Simon asked her co-judges to vote, the crowd suddenly burst into a chorus, saying, “Golden buzzer!” Maddie cried continuously and could not believe how much support she was receiving.

Howie stood in his seat and encouraged the crowd to applaud the little girl even more.

What Maddie did was beyond what they could imagine.

She broke the usual commercial break audience performance. From being a mere audience to an on-the-spot audience, the girl really proved that dreams do come true.

Golden-colored confetti rained all over Maddie’s head after the buzzer was hit. Everybody cheered for her achievement, and her stand could not believe what his daughter was able to achieve by just holding on to her dream.
