Owner can’t stop laughing when Siri holds “conversation” with his Husky

Even though digital voice assistants such as Siri and Alexa have been around for a couple of years, we can hardly imagine our lives without them anymore. The world is as connected as it’s ever been thanks to the wonderful world of technology, and communicating to your phone is as simple as saying “Hey Siri” or “Hey Google” out loud.

So simple, in fact, that even a Husky can speak to it.

In the early stages, voice assistants definitely still had their issues and couldn’t always respond properly to our commands. All these years later, however, Siri and others have noticeably improved. Siri is the name of Apple’s voice assistant, which you can find on most recent Apple products such as iPhones, iPad, and Macs.

While voice assistants were meant to make communication between devices and humans easier and more natural, it turns out that this Husky can “chat” Siri up with the best of them!

Thanks to another great technological wonder, known as the internet, there’s no shortage of funny videos in our lives. And if you’re a dog lover, you probably know that Huskies definitely have a hilarious side to them, especially when they try to talk.

Their howls can sound like some words, and there are countless funny videos out there of Huskies seemingly saying “I love you” or “Hello.”

This most recent viral video of a Husky, who goes by the name Keyush, shows him having a ‘”conversation” with none other than the digital assistant Siri.

With almost a million views on YouTube, the amazing dog has definitely captured the hearts of many online viewers.

At the beginning of the video, we hear the Husky saying “Hello mum”, and there’s a phone with Siri activated right next to him.

Voice assistants can do a pretty good job at detecting human voices, but no one expected that they’d be able to pick up these dog’s howls and interpret them as words! Technology truly is marvelous, isn’t it?

The first time around, though, Siri wasn’t quite sure what to make of the words.

“I didn’t catch that. Could you try again?” the voice assistant says.

The dog’s owner posted some funny ‘dog thoughts’ as captions, as she thinks that Keyush is a bit frustrated that he’s not understood. The second time, though, the Husky let out a “Hello” and Siri was right there with a “Hi there, how can I help?”.

The dog’s owner can’t hold back her laughter, as the whole thing is just too hilarious.

The video goes on for a few more minutes, and the “conversation” that these two have is truly entertaining to watch.

The Husky definitely can’t manage to capture the attention of Siri all the time, but his “Hi” and “Hello” are often understood, which prompts Siri to answer this four-footer with the standard answers “Hi there, I’m here.”

Siri even thinks that Keyush wants to hear music at one point and proceeds to play a song.

We’re pretty sure that Siri and other voice assistants could be improved in the animal-to-machine communication aspect. For now, however, it looks like this Husky definitely wants to try and talk with his virtual buddy anyway.

After the success of the Siri video, mom posted a video where he talks to Alexa!

Siri and others won’t be a substitute for Dr. Doolittle anytime soon, but it definitely is extremely fun to see these two trying to communicate.
