There’s nothing quite like sibling friendships. Anastasia and Victoria have been best friends ever since Anastasia came into the world. And this shows in their performances.

Anastasia was born when Victoria was five years old. And almost as soon as Anastasia could talk, Victoria encouraged her younger sibling to sing with her.

Luckily, both of the girls had similar vocal talents. Pretty soon, their parents realized that their daughters could go far.

The sisters have wowed crowds all over their home country, The Ukraine. And their performances are getting bigger and bigger.

They had the honor of performing in Kiev at a memorial concert for the gymnast Mikhail Voronin. They chose to honor the national hero with a cover of Badfinger’s Without You.

Without You has been a crowd-pleaser since it was released in 1970. It also helped Mariah Carey become a well-known musician throughout Europe.

So the girls had a lot to live up to with this cover!

The two girls walked onstage. Anastasia, who was 11 during this concert, looked just like a mini version of the then 16-year-old Victoria.

A piano played the opening notes to the well-known song.

Victoria opened with the lyrics “No, I can’t forget this evening.” The elder sister kept on singing the opening verse.

Then Anastasia took over from the lyric “No, I can’t forget tomorrow.” Her voice sounded just like an adult’s! She could more than hold her own with her teenage sister.

For the chorus, the two girls sang together. Their harmonies during the “Can’t live” lyrics really gave the already immensely powerful song an extra layer of depth.

By the end of their performance, everyone in the room had been moved. A huge round of applause came from all around.

Without You has been covered many, many times, but these sisters have proved that it can still sound fresh with the right voices!

Luckily, someone in the audience was filming the whole thing. They uploaded the footage to YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, it has gained over 8.3 million views. It also has more than 7,900 likes and 300 comments. People have been saying things like this:

In the years since this performance, Anastasia and Victoria have continued to tour and perform. Anastasia is now the same height as Victoria, meaning that it’s less of a surprise when the younger sister sings with the same talent as the older sister.

However, the girls are still incredibly young. Anastasia is only 17, and Victoria is 22! Just imagine all of the things that the sisters will achieve in the years to come!

The sisters’ website states that they still live in the Ukrainian village of Nerubayskoye, Odessa. But it’s easy to imagine them venturing out west to find even more acclaim.

After all, the US has had multiple British musical invasions. Is it time for a Ukrainian sister musical invasion?
