One of the most fulfilling things one can do is to get a baby to smile. There is something about their unbridled joy when they giggle or laugh. It just feels so satisfying even when they just grin ever so widely. Sometimes it can be very easy to do, simply jingle some keys and they can be in hysterics. Other times, however, your best material can leave a baby blank-faced with you trying your utmost to get them to crack a smile.

When you do get it right, it just warms your soul.

This loving father can make his adorable little boy smile even in his sleep! You would have to be pretty funny to make your child smile when he’s not even conscious. Capturing everything on his phone, he explains that he’s going to tell his son that he loves him and that alone will make him smile.

When the jingling keys don’t work it can leave you reaching for kid-comedy-classics such as some good ole’ fashioned “peekaboo”. This dad however gets away with three words, softly whispered into his kid’s ear while he sleeps.

This dad is very in touch with his baby. He is so sure is he that he’ll be able to make his baby smile with three little words whispered quietly. You need only have the patience to see that his confidence is founded.

Dad barely finishes whispering the phrase before his son’s face cracks into a broad, heart-melting smile. Hardly anything is more adorable than that. The baby’s grin is so pure with unadulterated happiness. Dad can’t help letting out a satisfied chuckle after making his son smile so broadly.
