Stubborn dog refuses to get out of bed – falls asleep cuddling little boy
Having a dog in the house is so much fun. Not only are they super-cute but they’re also important members of the family unit. No matter what your household looks like, owning a dog is a great idea. It’s even more fun if you have kids to share the experience with.
When you raise kids with dogs, they get to enjoy their childhood with a fluffy friend, one they’ll remember forever. Parents have the chance to see their pup and child play together. And it helps foster a love for animals, starting at a very early age. Perhaps that’s why so many families love raising kids and dogs at the same time.
A sweet viral video
Recently, a viral video made waves on the internet. In it, a dog and a baby enjoy some much-needed bonding time. With more than 12 million views, you know it’s become incredibly popular for a reason.
The little boy gets in bed
At the beginning of the video, you see a little boy named Parker crawl into bed. A pet Husky is already there, relaxing under the covers. When Parker gets settled in, the dog, Millie, stretches over to sniff him. Then, she licks him gently on the face. It’s a beautiful, tender moment that melts your heart when you see it.
Parker and his bottle
Then, Parker gets his bottle to help him relax. He’s excited when Millie shares in the moment. She reaches out to Parker, trying to determine what he’s drinking. She might want some for herself, after all. She looks very content just spending time with the little boy in the comfort of the bed.
Time for Millie to move
As Parker finishes his milk, Dad tries to get Millie out of bed. Since it’s time for Parker’s nap, Dad doesn’t want her to keep him awake. But Millie’s doesn’t plan to go anywhere. After a while, Dad gives up. He pulls the cover back up over Millie and in response, s She looks relieved that she gets to stay where she’s at.
They start to cuddle
As Parker begins to settle down for his nap, he lays his head on the pillow. Not long after, Millie follows suit. She can tell they’re going to go to sleep, something she’s fine with. She first licks Parker’s face to let him know she loves him. Then, she stretches her paw over him, wrapping him up in a big hug.
A truly special bond
It’s not every day you see a bond like the one between Parker and Millie. There’s no question they love each other a lot and want to spend all their time together. And when you see Millie with her paw around Parker, you know she’d protect him at any cost. I’m sure these parents are thrilled that Millie’s a part of their life.
