We all have to face up to our actions eventually. Tiger the boxer dog wanted nothing more than for his owners to just forgive and forget.

Temptation, we all face it. And let’s be honest, sometimes it’s great to just give in to our temptations and worry about the consequences later.

Tiger the boxer dog had been through months of obedience training. His owners thought that he was making real progress. But one day they left out a baguette that would make them know different.

The owners turned their backs on the baguette for less than a minute. That was long enough for Tiger to spot the bread, sneak up to it and scoff the entire thing down.

When the owners looked at the coffee table where they had left the baguette, they saw a plate on the floor along with the paper that the baguette had been wrapped in, which was now torn up.

They looked around for Tiger. The animal knew that he had done something bad, so he was hiding away.

Eventually, they found him cowering in one of his hiding spots.

They made the dog leave this hiding space to confront his actions. “Tiger, what did you do?” his mom asked.

Tiger just looked around, desperate to avoid eye contact with his mother. The dog was clearly ashamed of himself. But the owners realized that the dog needed to learn not to do this again. So his dad told him to look at him. The dog made eye contact slowly.

Then Tiger’s mom pointed to the few crumbs that were still on the rug.

The dad told Tiger to sit down. He did so, again very slowly.

“We pay good money for you to not screw up,” Tiger’s dad told the disobedient dog.

After some more chastizing, Tiger’s mom started petting his head. Then she gave him a cuddle and a kiss. The dog realized that he had been forgiven. Hopefully, he had learned to not cause trouble again.

Luckily, Tiger’s dad was filming the entire incident. He realized how adorable Tiger was, even if he was also out of line, and uploaded the footage to YouTube.

The video has since made quite a mark online. To date, it has gained over 600,000 views. It also has more than 5,300 likes and 1,800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

But just because Tiger can be greedy doesn’t mean he isn’t friendly. In fact, he will do whatever he can to help others.

Once he even extended his compassion to an injured bird on the beach.

All that he wanted to do was see if he could help the animal out. Sadly, the creature just thought that the dog was trying to attack. The dog still watched over the bird for a long time, trying to protect it from any predators.

So Tiger has a big stomach. But his owners can always forgive him because he has an even bigger heart!
