Snowmobiling couple rescues three frozen puppies fighting to survive

Helping other people can bring so much happiness to our hearts. Admit it, it is always a nice feeling.

You probably once helped a colleague who was struggling with her task. It might be when you gave a piece of bread to someone who was asking for food along the street.

No matter what situation was that, I’m sure you have felt that joy after you came to someone’s rescue. Thank you for doing that wholeheartedly.

A couple from Utah can probably relate to this.

Kat and her partner Corey were out for sledding and fun in the snow. They thought it was just a typical day until they bumped into something unexpected.

The woman posted about it on her Facebook account and recounted what happened. She recalled that they saw a Great Pyrenees dog and felt the need to rescue her. However, they had no food to entice her.

As they extremely want to save her from that situation, they needed to leave and go back with food and a crate.

She wrote:

“WHAT A DAY!!! So yesterday when corey and I were sledding on monte we came across a great pyrenees mama dog that had recently had pups. We tried to get close but we had no food to tempt her. She was having no part of us… so anyway…we went back today with food and a crate.”

Sadly, when they came back to the same place, the dog was no longer there.

On the bright side, they found the mother dogs’ three puppies. They also had the chance to rescue them from that frosty place.

“I found her and 3 pups almost 3 miles from where she was yesterday. Loooong story short…weber county search and rescue helped out with a sleigh and we were able to get the puppies off the mountain. They are about 7 wks old.,” she wrote.

Kat’s post went viral on social media and gathered various comments from other people. Most of them are happy that they were able to save the precious puppies. But then, there are also many who got worried about the mother dog.

“Hope you can catch the mom. My guess is someone is completely heartbroken that mom ran away while she was pregnant? Hope she can be caught and has a chip, so she can go home,” a commenter wrote.

Kat revealed that they did everything to find the mother dog. They even began a fundraiser so that they could make more attempts to find her.

“I’m not going to leave any animal on the mountain to starve, especially, it was obvious she had pups,” Kat stated.

Unfortunately, they did not catch her.

It is heartbreaking indeed but the couple just showered their love and attention to the three pups. They provided all their needs to survive and get better.

The good news is the adorable dogs were able to recover promptly. Thanks to their mother’s love. According to Kat, the main reason why the pups were able to survive when they were still in that dangerous place is because of their mama’s survival skills. She said,

“they were living in a sheep carcass. She had found a dead sheep and they had eaten, there was nothing left, just a little bit of wool and a few big bones. I’m sure that’s what she’d been eating on all fall.”

The kind-hearted couple decided to adopt one puppy and they named him Cashe.
