Backyards are perfect places to spot fun critters. Just outside your window, you can see birds finding snacks, rabbits hopping around, and plenty of squirrels crawling up trees. That all depends on where your living, some people have even spotted deer, bears or alligators in their backyards.

Sometimes people have even seen the same critter over and over again.

After a while, it’s hard not to build a friendship with your revisiting backyard pals. This had a Pennsylvania man crafting a new way for his squirrel friends to enjoy time in his backyard. Rick Kalinowski adored having his furry friends play his yard.

When one day Kalinowski had a light bulb moment that would make his squirrel pals happier than ever.

Of course, squirrels are used to rummaging through the grass to find food but Kalinowski wanted his yard to be a place where they can sit pretty.

Yes literally, he used some leftover wood to create their very own miniature squirrel picnic table!

Kalinowski didn’t just lay it on the grass, he nailed it right into the fence so the squirrels could have fun climbing to it. After Kalinowski nailed the tiny table to the fence he laid out a pile of nuts on the table. A welcome home gift for these special squirrels and they ate it right up! The squirrel friends were ecstatic about their new picnic bench.

Just watching them eat their little snack at the table will have your heart-melting.

Kalinowski’s squirrel friends visit the table at least twice a day which is a pretty good indication that they love the table just as much as we do! Now, these furry friends can feel nice and classy while eating their beloved snacks. As much as the squirrels appreciate their new picnic spot, Kalinowski appreciates the joy they bring to him.

That’s why Kalinowski nailed the table in the exact spot he enjoys his morning coffee.

Just when you thought this friendship couldn’t get any cuter… it does.

Kalinowski wanted to give back to these sweet animals to thank them for all of the happiness they bring. We sometimes take for granted the precious creatures that we can see just in our backyard. As often as you might see squirrels roaming around they still deserve appreciation. Kalinowski’s brilliant idea has made the lives of these squirrels more delightful and they can’t thank him enough.

These squirrels now have a perfect place to enjoy their potluck!

Kalinowski’s backyard might even host a backyard squirrel barbeque for all we know. One thing we do know is these squirrels sure are stoked to have a personalized table just for them! Squirrels can be seen as some kind of nuisance when really their just trying to survive. Thankfully Kalinowski has created an amazing dining experience for these furry friends.

This is probably the talk of all squirrel communities…
