Pit bull doesn't take long to find forever home after flashing her charming smile at shelter

Staffordshire Bull Terriers, for all their bruiser look, are actually super sweet and affectionate dogs. They are cross-breeds of Bulldogs and English White Terriers that came from Birmingham.

Sadly, they’re often overlooked at adoption sites because of their image.

But this adorable Staffy proved to be different after she showed the world her beautiful smile. A smile that stole everyone’s attention on Twitter after a shelter worker posted the photo.

Sybil showed up to All Dogs Matter Rescue in London where she was able to flash that gorgeous grin stealing the hearts of everyone in attendance.

This smiling pooch was once known as Lily. Sybil was a stray who now has a forever home. A staff member from All Dogs Matter kept posting a picture of her lovely smile on Twitter.

She was captured by a dog warden, so Sybil was brought into ADM in North London.

When Twitter users gazed upon that adorable smile, Staffy began to receive numerous messages of love.

18-year-old Frankie Murphy was one such admirer who knew that only an amazing dog could deliver such a smile. He reached out to the shelter knowing full well that there were many others asking about the smiling dog.

“We saw her lovely little smile and couldn’t resist. Even though we knew she had a lot of interest from the Twitter post, we got in contact with the charity in hopes that she was still available. When we went to visit her, we fell in love with her straight away.” Frankie told Metro UK.

Frankie and his family took Sybil home a year after their own dog passed away.

The family knew that Sybil was the perfect dog, and once they took her home, Sybil’s sweet smile kept getting brighter by the day. The family loves their new pooch so much that they created an Instagram page for her.

Sybil’s many fans are now updated with her new life!

“She’s so good, she follows my Dad around like a little shadow, and she doesn’t bark at all. My neighbors didn’t even know we had a new dog because she’s been so quiet.”

She is so intelligent too, she has managed to open our back door. She’s not tall enough to reach the handle but she can push it with her nose and open it.” Said Frankie.

Sybil’s Instagram account is @sybil.doggo.

She’s got a little over 500 followers now. Go ahead and hit that follow option. There are many others doing the same thing!

There are so many lovable dogs at All Dogs Matter through this link, Meet Our Dogs. So many furry pals are waiting for a new home and who knows, one may find itself in yours.

It’s been said many times that it’s better to “adopt, don’t shop”. And most of the time this holds true. Many dogs are abandoned or worse, abused, and they deserve to be rescued and loved.
