Friendship knows no bounds. We befriend everyone regardless of who they are. There are no qualifications to be a friend, you just have to be someone who is willing to help whenever someone is in need and provide emotional support. Animals bond pretty much the same way we humans do.

Animals are loyal no matter who they bond with.

We already know the bond animals share with humans. Pets are one of the most loyal companions that humans can have. Animals are capable of expressing the same emotions to other animals regardless of their species.

The internet is filled with such stories. We’ve seen friendships between a duck and dog, cat and parrot, monkey and raccoon, and each time it gets more adorable.

While friendships between animals work the same way as humans, sometimes they can be different. Most of the unlikely duos are formed when both animals are very young. Young animals are more welcoming than senior ones and hence they are far more likely to friend anyone.

Animals who are held captive, such as animals in zoos, will bond quickly since they have no choice. This friendship between cat and lynx is similar because the lynx was in the zoo when she made the cat her best friend.

This friendship is also about companionship, loyalty, and togetherness.

The lynx is from the oldest zoo in Russia, St Petersburg Zoo. The cat was homeless and she was wandering around looking for shelter and food. Because the lynx was in a zoo, she was given all of the necessary care and food, but the cat was homeless and she didn’t have the luxury. The Lynx decided to share her resources with the cat.

The cat asked for food, the lynx said yes and now they are both inseparable.

According to the locals, the cat came to the lynx searching for food. The lynx realised the cat was hungry and needed food, so she didn’t resist the cat’s approach. The cat needed food and the lynx was looking for a friend—they needed each other.

The zoo later decided to adopt the cat. Both the lynx and the cat are now enjoying their new life together.

The video of the cat and lynx was later uploaded on YouTube.

A video of the lynx and cat was later shared on YouTube which quickly melted millions of hearts. The video shows how much the cat and the lynx enjoy each other’s company.

Both the cat and the lynx are licking each other, showing signs of deep affection. The clip has gained more than 12 million views with nearly 700 comments. Here is what some of the viewers wrote in comments:

Not surprised. If the Lynx is alone in his cage, he could get pretty lonely.

In a world where all they have is each other. One raised alone in captivity, the other a stray just looking for a home; fate has brought these unlikely felines together.

That is beautiful! !! They learned to put their differences aside, adapt to their environment and love each other! !! We would benefit by following their example

Everyone is enjoying the beautiful friendship. Now it is your turn!
