Most cats live by one mantra: “If it fits, I sit”. They do not care how small the space is, they just sit. If they see an empty cardboard box lying around, they’ll turn it into their turf in no time.

Cats can fit through any opening including tight corners and cramped space. This is due to their highly flexible spines, which are more rotatable than those of most animals. The way their bones are structured allows them to squeeze through any place, run faster, and fit anywhere.

Most boxes or tight spaces are warmer than your room temperature, and since cats like warm places, they make it their home.

The flexibility doesn’t just benefit cats but also their owners.

The more the cat is flexible, the more mobile they are. You can not carry a puppy in your pocket but you can surely carry a kitten. They can even fit in the cap of your hoddie.

This means that you can carry them wherever you want.

Ms. Wen is a university student from Xi’an, China and she owns a one-year-old Munchkin cat named Ba Dun. Ms. Wen, like most pet owners, was having a difficult time leaving her kitty home alone.

Pets always seem to give us a sad look when we leave home, like they’re saying, “Please don’t go, I miss you!”

And no pet owner enjoys seeing that expression.

University students are not allowed to bring pets inside the school, but Ms. Wen decided to go against it for her cat.
