When, in 2014, Brett Nichols performed a flawless Michael Jackson dance routine at Pitman High School, nobody expected what would follow.

In a video of that performance (which Nichols himself has uploaded on YouTube), we can see him dance to the sounds of “Billie Jean”- and the whole school cheering for him. Especially towards the end when he did the famous MJ moonwalk!

According to Brett’s classmates, he used to be a low-profile student who suddenly revealed his passion for the specific kind of dance and impressed everyone.

“Went to school with Brett he’s a very down to earth guy that no one would ever bat an eye to until he built up the courage to show off his true passion,” someone who goes by the YouTube username “melvin dagreat” commented. “He first did it in 2014 when I was a senior and all I could say was that I was shook just as much at the next person. He’s a hell of a guy and one good dancer!”

So, after his huge success that year, he hasn’t stopped dancing and he was even featured on ABC’s “The View” performing the famous dance.

And then, in 2017, he was asked to dance for his school again.

This time, he was not a “newbie,” but a legend who was returning to offer his audience the performance they had been waiting for.

Everyone knew who he was and what he did, and they welcomed him with applause and cheers.

So, Nichols decided to dance “Dangerous” this time and it proved to be a great idea. This song and choreography gave him the chance to show off his skills much more than he did in his previous performance for the school.

When the young dancer goes on stage, the audience is already excited.

He then employs two guys who help him complete his outfit, and then he gets ready for the MJ impersonation.

The song starts playing and the students around the gym go crazy! After all, Nichols is already a legend!

The young dancer starts doing all the right moves and dancing like there’s no tomorrow.

Confident as ever, the teenager has full control over his moves and he recreates the choreography perfectly.

All the details are there: from the hat tilt to the finger flick, he doesn’t miss any.

The video that was uploaded on YouTube has gone viral, after being watched by more than 20 million people!

In the comment section, most users are praising Nichols for his talent, and how could they not pull it off- since his performance is impeccable.

Some even went so far as to say he is a reincarnation of Michael Jackson!

“The moon walk was so clean it did my laundry,” someone jokingly wrote, while someone else commented: “It’s like the second he put that hat on, he literally transformed into Michael”.

Brett Nichols has not stopped dancing ever since, while he also keeps uploading videos of him dancing to MJ songs every now and then.

He is a very talented young dancer and we are convinced this star will keep shining for a long time!
