Students perform mind-boggling coordination challenge in hypnotizing synchronicity

This is an incredibly complex routine, but they make it look easy! Watch these students execute an amazing dance.
Dancing, like most skills in life, depends on how well you work with others as much as how good you are. You could have the best moves in the world, but what’s the point if you can’t sync up those moves with your dance partners?
The kids in this video have really learned to cooperate with one another, on the dancefloor and off! Just look at their amazing coordination.
Their performance begins with two lines of students, stood on opposite sides and ends of a square of hula hoops.
A pipe instrument starts playing a tune, and the dancers add percussion with sticks in their hands.
Then the students closest to the hoops jump forward, their feet landing in the two hoops in front of them.
They jump, twisting in the air until they land with their feet in the center two hoops, their backs facing each other.
Then they jump and twist again, their feet landing in the two hoops at the other end of their lines, facing each other once more. And every time they jump, they hit their sticks together.
The two students jump their way to the center of the circle, keeping in time with the beat.
Then the two students behind them jump in at the edges of the hula hoop square.
The four students on the square keep moving to the beat, trusting each other to keep up and not bump into one another.
Then the first two students to jump into the square jump out as two other students jump in.
They continue jumping in sequence until it’s time for the second pair of students to jump out and another pair to jump in.
The students carry on with this routine, jumping and hitting their sticks with perfect timing. Throughout the performance, no one misses a beat, until one boy stumbles on a hula hoop!
Then the performance comes to an end, a job well done.
One of the students uploaded a video of that performance to YouTube, where it has proved to be highly popular. In just a few months, it has almost had 600,000 views. It has also managed to gain over 14,000 likes and 350 comments.
The comments are in Spanish, so unless you understand Spanish, you may struggle to understand how much people love the performance. Although words like “excelente” and “encanto” suggest that people are being really positive.
This routine must have taken lots of practice and perfection. It’s no easy task to get a large crowd of people together and make them all dance in sync while actually making music. But they managed it!
Perhaps this kind of coordination dance would be a great thing for team builders/ice breakers to incorporate. It certainly looks more fun than falling into someone’s arms or telling two truths and a lie!
Of course, words alone can’t capture the vibrancy of this performance, no matter what language they’re written in. The best way to appreciate the video is to watch it. You’ll agree that it’s positively hypnotic.
