Professor asks students to show their dogs doing homework and everyone complies
Dogs are cute, no matter what. We’ve seen dogs doing silly things, whether they are eating, sleeping, or just being themselves they always put a smile on our faces. Marie-AmΓ©lie George, a college professor, asked her students to show their dogs doing classwork, and it’s a whole new dog genre!
George got a great response from her students and they sent in some wonderful dog photos. A huge thank you to George for bringing attention to this underappreciated genre of dog photos. Let’s explore this new style together
1) Teacher first
Professor George stepped up to the plate first to share her dachshund hitting the books hard. He’s got his first tutor.

2) Dog at work
This old boy has to put his reading glasses on to see the words clearly. This labrador is a go-getter, already on to chapter nineteen.

3) Work environment
You have to make your workspace comfortable. This dachshund has his reading glasses, a small chair, and a tiny desk. All that’s missing is a small bowl of kibble for snackin’.
He has his own work area…. A bit small though. pic.twitter.com/AxT505vgob

4) Social Secretary
This little one is working on the calendar. Setting up a proper schedule completely based on her dog needs. Treat on the hour every hour.
I’ve been informed by my social secretary that she’s penciling in extra walks and belly rubs for the foreseeable future. pic.twitter.com/3zP2kmKkoA

5) Break time
If you stare at your computer for too long, your eyes will hurt. This pup recommends a nap whenever you get tired. It’s a lot of work.

6) Bored
It doesn’t look like this study buddy is interested in admiralty law at all. Most dogs prefer snack time studies or park physical education.
When I was in law school, my dog was fascinated by admiralty law. Cute study buddy, a little weak on determination of status for workers at sea. π€·ββοΈ πΆ pic.twitter.com/BjCo2kOLLA

7) Keep it fun
This lovely lady isn’t doing classwork. This is purely recreational reading at the park, and you can tell it’s a very interesting book based on her expression.

8) I want to learn
This curious dog is popping in to see what’s going on. My human is looking at that bright screen a lot, maybe I should be looking at it too?

9) Polite
Elphie has something to contribute to the class. Keep your hand raised until you are called on. Thanks for your patience.

10) All dogs on deck
Now, this is a Zoom meeting I’d like to be involved in. But, I’m sure I wouldn’t be allowed. Besides, what do I know about marking your territory, fun things to chew on, or barking at people.

11) Chat with the enemy
This dog is fixated on the cat in the chat window. How did it get inside the screen? Better keep a close eye on it, in case it runs.

12) Just like my human
I’ve learned from my human that you have to sit in this tall chair with a pillow beneath you, and then you can read the book properly. Well done!

13) Set some boundaries
If you’re gonna eat someone’s homework, it’s nice to see that a standard of quality has been set. Hahaha!
Always loved this! pic.twitter.com/saiGbMcrKx

14) It actually happens
Miss Sandy has decided the math homework isn’t quite up to par and is running off with it. Maybe she’ll bring it back with all the correct answers?

15) Even the Federal Student Aid got involved
They sent in a picture of a regal golden retriever filling out his FAFSA form. I gotta say, I’m impressed with the mouse operation.
The pup-arazzi caught our dog doing homework too.
He also filled out his FAFSA form today at https://t.co/wdDmg7cr0I.

16) Working for the weekend
You put in the time and effort during the week, so you can enjoy the weekend. It’s a much better practice than cramming it in on a Sunday.
Yup. Ready for the weekend. pic.twitter.com/whpkncqpEu

17) Saturday
This is what the weekend looks like alright. Then again, these days, all the days look like Saturday. What day is it?
Day off today I’m afraid. pic.twitter.com/rjuCqqCyDo

18) Puppy Care
Still in the babysitting phase. This puppy is still too young to be hitting the books. Maybe get the paint set out for one of those flower-paws painting?

19) Back to the Future
It looks just like the dog Einstein from “Back to the Future.” All that time traveling has got to be exhausting.

20) Come on Bert!
He wouldn’t need the extension if he would have just done the work. Instead, he was chasing the tennis ball around the backyard all weekend. Live and learn.
