That’s the name of an organization created in 2014 and devoted to building more positive communities.

“It’s our mission to inspire people to treat themselves and others better,” their website reads.

It appears the group is simply devoted to facilitating good deeds for good people. And their YouTube videos have views in the millions since everyone could use a bit of a smile when they see someone get a well-deserved thanks from the people they’ve helped.

Take, for example, a 2015 video with over 1.2 million views. It was filmed at a Nevada high school when students reached out to “dude. be nice” to thank a cafeteria worker named “Miss Lynn.”

“Our friends from Bishop Manogue HS in Reno, NV wanted to show a little love to a woman on their campus that graciously serves them each day. So, they gave the DUDE. be nice crew a call and, together, we threw her a surprise party to show her how much she means to them,” reads the caption.

“Lunch Lady Lynn” has always been kind to the students at the Reno high school where she works. So kind, in fact, that it didn’t go unnoticed. Many of them said she’s simply the nicest woman they’ve ever met.

So they decided they needed to make a big gesture to show her just how much that kindness meant to them.

“She doesn’t even really know how much we do care about her, so it’s important for her to know that what she does every day really makes a difference,” said one student.

The students knew her mother, who lives in Memphis, was ill and that a plane ticket might be prohibitively expensive. So her biggest surprise was a trip to go see her near Christmastime.

But the most effort went into turning the tables, so to speak, on their “hero without a cape.”

During Lynn’s interview, she remarked on how wonderful her students are, even pointing out the “Dude. Be Nice” signs they had hung around the school.

Little did she know, they were all for her.

In addition to the gift of a plane ticket home, the organizers had arranged for her favorite meal to be served to her during school hours – Memphis barbecue.

But this wasn’t just any lunch, it was served to her by her students, dressed in tuxedos, and on silver platters.

As Lynn ran the lunch cards at the cafeteria one day, a student walked up to her and asked her to come sit down.

A heartfelt thank you had Lynn completely surprised and touched.

But that was only half the gesture.

As they laid down a white tablecloth and the school choir serenaded her, Lynn watched as students filled a vase with red roses.

Then they lifted the lid on her fantastic barbecue and she was simply stunned.

Near tears, that’s when Lynn was informed of the Southwest Airlines gift card that would allow her to go see her mother without financial strain.

It’s safe to say she didn’t see any of this coming and was completely overwhelmed.

And it’s wonderful to watch a kind person receive the thanks they deserve for all of their hard work.
