Stylist chops off long grey hair and gives her a sultry, short blonde hairdo
Many women have a close relationship with their hair. But over time, we tend to find the one style that works for us and stick to that. Without exploring or changing our hairstyles, we can get bored with how we look.
That’s what happened to Paula Estival, from Le Roy, Minnesota.
One day, she decided to make a drastic shift in her appearance. She wanted a change – and she wanted a professional to help her look her best!
So she went to The Makeover Guy.
The Makeover Guy, also known as Christopher Hopkins, is a professional makeup artist who believes in uses makeovers ot uplift people and help them feel great. His salon is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and he documents these affirming changes on his Youtube channel.

Because of this, Paula knew she could trust The Makeover Guy to do a fabulous job. She went to him with a hairstyle that she had had for the past five years, knowing that she would leave with something fresh.
Paula was ready for a change.
Paula’s hairstyle was long and wavy with sleek bangs. Before this hairstyle, she had experimented a few different ways. She was used to going between long and short haircuts, so she wasn’t afraid of any changes that might happen.
And, she adds, her husband finds her beautiful however she looks. Speaking about her husband, Paula says “He loves me anyway.” We love a supportive husband who finds her beautiful all the time!

Given that he’s been in the business since 1990, Paula knew she was lucky to be dealing with a magician of the beauty world.
To make it even luckier, they live in the same state! Although people will travel from overseas to get a makeover from Christopher, all Paula had to do was drive a short distance.

From super long, to super short.
The makeover Paula got was rather dramatic- she cut her formerly lengthy locks to a short bob! And the style of the cut gave her hair more volume, which makes full, bouncy curls. Now, her hair falls around her face and brings out her beautiful bone structure.
Another big change: a slight dye job! Paula’s hair changed from light gray to a softer, slightly honey-colored blonde. This alteration makes her seem lively enough to fit her bubbly personality. Overall, she looks gorgeous and glamourous.
How does it feel?
Paula could not contain her excitement at the sight of her makeover. She loved looking like a brand new person. She says:
“I got rid of all that long grey hair that was dragging me down, and this has brought life to my face and life to my hair. I love it!”
This transformation is amazing, and Paula deserves to show off her updated look. She was beautiful beforehand too, but it’s really special to see a woman owning her beauty. And she wants to spread the joy. Paula encourages anyone thinking about getting a makeover, to “just do it!”
