Christmas is a time for miracles, so Susan Boyle’s duet with the long-dead King of rock and roll music shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Some people would say that Susan Boyle and Elvis Presley are at opposite ends of the musical spectrum, in more ways than one!

Their singing styles, musical genres, genders and even aliveness are at odds with each other. And yet they’ve managed to release a Christmas song together!

To be fair, both Susan Boyle and Elvis Presley do have some things in common.

They both came from humble origins to go on to sell millions of records. They both have won Grammy Awards. And they both have Christmas albums. It’s just that Elvis has somehow managed to appear on Boyle’s album.

Many people would think that the fact that Elvis Presley died when Susan Boyle was just 16 years old would prevent him from duetting with her. But thanks to the miracle of technology, they have a song together!

The two bestselling artists sing together on the Christmas classic O Come, All Ye Faithful, and it’s a powerful performance.

The video opens with two children dressed as the wise men from the Nativity story.

Then Susan Boyle opens with the lyric, “O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant.”

The video cuts to show other children dressed as characters from the Nativity.

The second verse opens with Elvis Presley singing, “Come and behold him, born the King of angels.”

Then Boyle sings with a children’s choir for the lyrics “Oh come, let us adore him,” and then Presley sings with the children for the next “Oh come, let us adore him.”

Then Boyle, Presley and the choir all harmonize together.

The children all prepare for their nativity play as the musicians and the kids sing.

Then the video shows an unlikely addition to the Nativity scene. It’s a child dressed up as Elvis Presley himself. Clearly, there are going to be two Kings at this Nativity scene.

The video then shows Boyle on the stage. The little Elvis also walks onto the stage and joins Boyle. Then all of the kids from before walk onto the stage, joining Boyle and the little Elvis.

It’s the most unusual Nativity scene this side of Love Actually, but it looks great!

The proceeds from this single all went to Save the Children/The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation. Elvis Presley would be pleased to know that his singing can still raise lots of money for good causes!

The video for this song was released onto YouTube, where it soon became quite a hit on the site. The video has, to date, gained over 1.4 million views. It also has over 4,400 likes and 200 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Elvis Presley may be gone, but he certainly is not forgotten.

Priscilla Presley, Elvis’s wife, gave permission for Boyle to sing with her late husband on this track. It was in many ways a dream come true for Boyle, who is a huge Elvis Presley fan. She also said that she thought Elvis would be proud of the song that they had released.
