To every parent, their kids are their own little angels. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks – every child is perfect in their parents’ eyes.

And then there are some kids that seem to have been graced with every angelic feature under the sun. They’re perfect in everyone’s eyes.

Meet Sophie Fatu. This adorable little girl isn’t just a cute face – she’s also a ballet dancer, an actress, and an incredible singer.

At just seven years old, Sophie has already achieved more musical success than some people can hope for in their lifetime. The little superstar appeared on “America’s Got Talent” season 13 and wowed the judges when she was just five.

She’s also performed on The Ellen Show, and this is what Ellen had to say about her:

“Sophie is adorable at a professional level. You will not believe this little girl.”

Now that’s something to put on the resume!

Some of Sophie’s favourite songs to sing are the old jazz classics, so “Moon River” by Andy Williams was the perfect choice for her next cover.

Of course, Sophie absolutely nails her performance!

The video begins with Sophie smiling sweetly at the camera, tilting her head from side to side while the opening notes of the song play out from a piano. We’re expecting her singing to be as soft and as delicate as she is – but she quickly proves us wrong!

She belts out the first couple of lines:

“Moon river, wider than a mile

I’m crossing you in style some day”

While her voice is still a little girl’s, she’s clearly got some fire in her lungs! She hits every note perfectly, all while continuing to smile adorably at the camera.

Even with all the impressive high notes, Sophie manages to maintain her composure from start to finish. We can see why she’s already such a star – she seems far more sophisticated than her seven years of age.

Her two front teeth might be missing, but all that does is add even more cuteness to the performance! “River” becomes “wiver”, and “crossing” becomes “cwossing”. Too. Cute.

We all know the song, even if we don’t immediately recognize it by name. Composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics from Johnny Mercer, any Breakfast At Tiffany’s fans will remember “Moon River” from when it was first performed by Audrey Hepburn.

In the film, Hepburn plays New York City girl Holly Golightly. It was thanks to her performance that the film has become the classic we know it as today.

Clearly, little Sophie has good taste when it comes to picking tunes to cover, and her YouTube audience agrees. It was only posted on April 18, but the video of Sophie’s singing has already amassed 35,000 views and counting.

What’s for sure, there’s no stopping this incredible youngster on her path to stardom. We’re pretty certain we’ll be seeing a lot more of Sophie as she continues to sing and perform into adulthood. Sophie Fatu is a name to remember!

Sophie is now busy performing around the country and pursuing her acting career in none other than Hollywood. How many other seven-year-olds can say they’ve done the same thing?
