Swing dancing may have come from America, but it’s practiced all over the world. This European couple’s routine is all the proof you need.

The best thing about dance is that it’s for everyone. It’s about expressing yourself in the way that you want to express yourself. This couple really knows that!

Tanya and Sondre had always had a passion for swing dancing. When they started performing together professionally, they knew that they could go far.

Together, they’ve wowed millions of people. But perhaps their best performance of all time was at the Rock That Swing Festival.

The couple walked onto the stage. Tanya was wearing a vintage blue dress. Sondre was wearing a blue suit with a bowtie that matched Tanya’s outfit perfectly.

They stood on the dancefloor and looked at each other. When they started making funny faces to one another before the music started, everyone could see how at ease they were.

The opening drum beat to Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra started playing. The couple started walking back and forth to the beat.

Then Sondre took Tanya’s hand. When the lyrics started, he grasped her waist and pulled her closer.

A little after this, Sondre let go of Tanya. He leaned forward, and Tanya grabbed his ankle as he did so.

Sondre took Tanya’s waist once more, and the couple span across the dancefloor a few times.

Then Sondre got down on his knees and kept ahold of Tanya’s hand. Tanya walked around Sondre a little, and Sondre got up on his feet once more.

The two linked arms and span around on the spot.

Next, they wowed the entire audience.

Tanya leaped over Sondre’s back and slid under his legs incredibly swiftly.

After a bit more spinning together across the stage, Tanya turned away from Sondre. Tanya and Sondre swayed back and forth on the spot. Then Tanya did the side splits and got back up in no time at all.

After some more dancing across the stage, Sondre himself did some splits.

To finish off, the couple danced parallel to one another, perfectly in sync with each other’s moves.

The crowd let out a huge cheer, and rightfully so. Few dancers could pull off so many accomplished moves in so little time!

The footage soon wound up on YouTube, where it went viral.

To date, it has managed to gain over 2.6 million views. It also has more than 9,400 likes and 180 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Clearly, Tanya and Sondre are popular with people all over the world.

Since that performance, Tanya and Sondre have only gone from strength to strength. They won a 10 boogie woogie world cups between 2016 to 2019.

The couple currently lives in Warsaw, Poland. When they aren’t winning national competitions, they teach others how to dance and share their love of dance in any way possible.
