Incredible voices seem to run in the Bocelli family! Mattheo Bocelli is the son of world-renowned singer and pianist Andrea Bocelli. His father Andrea is from Tuscany, Italy, and is well known for his work with Celine Dion and their duet called “The Prayer”.

The song has remained a timeless piece as new music artists pick it up to voice a still valid message.

Andrea was born visually impaired and became completely blind at the age of 12 due to a soccer accident. His love for music started at the age of 6 and there was no denying his astonishing talents. At 61-years-old Andrea continues to create music and has now brought his son Mattheo along with him!

Mattheo at only 22-years-old is reaching audiences all over the world with his innate ability to sing.

Not only can he sing beautiful ballets of the world-famous band Queen, but he can also play the piano just like his father. Just recently Mattheo released an at-home video of him playing the piano and performing “Love Of My Life” by the infamous Queen. The simple video shows just how amazing Mattheo’s voice and piano talents are.

As he sings the well-known Queen song he doesn’t miss a beat performing every word with a passion.

The song connects us all during these very distanced times with lines like,

“You will remember, When this blows over, Everythings all by the way.”

Those 1975 Freddie Mercury lyrics still resonate with us today in 2020 and I’m sure Freddie would be proud of Mattheo’s simple yet powerful performance.

Mattheo’s natural talent definitely comes along with lots of practice. With a musical father, it probably wasn’t too hard to find a teacher. Mattheo and his father have well-practiced together and even recently 2018 released their song “Fall On Me” a tribute to their bond.

The song has over 14 million views and it seems to be only the beginning for young Mattheo.

Although his world-famous father will always hold a thrown there are no shadows that Mattheo is living behind as he expresses his own unique voice. Mattheo’s father Andrea even explained to Billboard,

“Technically they are very different, but there is one thing that makes them most similar: the attitude. That characteristic way of expressing yourself through your voice.

“This makes Matteo and I very similar. But that is something that you cannot learn, that cannot be taught. That is something you are born with.”

The support Andrea has for Mattheo doesn’t go unnoticed as they continue to create together. Mattheo certainly has a master music teacher and even an at-home performance leaves audiences in awe of Mattheo’s epic talent.
